  • can any one let me know about O2 payg sim only plans
I phoned up for the sim 49p was told that it was £10 top up for unlimited text and Internet !
    Sim has arrived and says

    £10-£14 300 text
    £15-£29 500 text unlimited Internet
    £30+ unlimited text & Internet

    cheers
  • It doesn't look like I've got it anyway, the person I was talking to said my redemptions would stay the same and told me to ring Customer Services. They haven't so I canceled.

I thought O2 or the CPW O2 didnt offer discounts on the iphone tarrifs!
    Maybe I'm wrong,
    JaRocks28:

It isn't a discount on the tarrif its a redemptions deal. I have to send bills back to get the money off.

hmmm... no discounts on the iphone, including redemtion deals so we still think youre telling porkies

    :hello:
  • Apologies if this has been asked and answered before, but I have a standard O2 contract (i.e. not iPhone) with unlimited data (on a discounted retention deal). If I were to buy a PAYG iPhone 3GS and put my contract SIM card in there would it just work or would I have to do anything special?

The reason I ask is that, after calling O2 Customer Service, to buy myself out of my existing contract, buy the iPhone and have to change to a new iPhone tariff would be a *lot* more money that just paying the £440 for a PAYG iPhone and keeping everything else as is!

Any help would be much appreciated.

Apparently, using the O2 'Simplicity' SIM only + unlimited data works with the iPhone (and iPhone customers are allowed to go onto it when out of contract - I intend to in Dec!), so I don't see why yours wouldn't.

Only feature which doesn't work with this is Visual Voicemail - which is no big loss IMO.

I got offered the iPhone on o2, for £35 a month with 600 mins and Unlimited Texts. With £600 Chequeback making it £10 a month.

I didn't take it though I went for £25 month with 600 mins unlimited texts, £600 Chequeback and £150 Auto-Cashback. Making it £0 a month and an extra £150

    I already have a touch.

Did I make the right choice? :/

    where from?
