It doesn't look like I've got it anyway, the person I was talking to said my redemptions would stay the same and told me to ring Customer Services. They haven't so I canceled.0

It isn't a discount on the tarrif its a redemptions deal. I have to send bills back to get the money off.

Apologies if this has been asked and answered before, but I have a standard O2 contract (i.e. not iPhone) with unlimited data (on a discounted retention deal). If I were to buy a PAYG iPhone 3GS and put my contract SIM card in there would it just work or would I have to do anything special?
The reason I ask is that, after calling O2 Customer Service, to buy myself out of my existing contract, buy the iPhone and have to change to a new iPhone tariff would be a *lot* more money that just paying the £440 for a PAYG iPhone and keeping everything else as is!
Any help would be much appreciated.0 -

Apparently, using the O2 'Simplicity' SIM only + unlimited data works with the iPhone (and iPhone customers are allowed to go onto it when out of contract - I intend to in Dec!), so I don't see why yours wouldn't.
Only feature which doesn't work with this is Visual Voicemail - which is no big loss IMO.0 -

I didn't take it though I went for £25 month with 600 mins unlimited texts, £600 Chequeback and £150 Auto-Cashback. Making it £0 a month and an extra £150
I already have a touch.
Did I make the right choice?
where from?0
