Other than eBay, does anyone know of a good place to sell an iPhone 4? Looking to offload mine as I'm bored with it and want to try out WP7.

Hello, I was wondering if somebody can help me. I'm looking for an iphone 4 contract for my wife. She needs about 1000 minutes (as a minimum) and about 500 texts. Does anybody know what the best deal out there is currently for a deal like that?

I've seen the 3 deal for £35 a month via phones4u, but I hear that is for refurbed phones?

A couple of months ago i got this iphone 4 sim-only deal (12 month contract) from Vodafone to use on my iphone 4 which i bought from Apple directly @ £500 late last year:

    900 x network mins
    1000 landline mins
    unlimited texts
    1GB internet
0870/0845/0800 calls included (come out of 900 mins)

    All for £15 per month:rotfl:
(they were originally asking for £22 pm so had to beg and plead with them a lot:p)

Go for this one (cheapest or near to cheapest on the basis of overall cost for one year)

I got my contract running out in end of October, been toying between the Iphone 4 and Blackberry but I think I'm sold on the Iphone 4.

I've been looking at figures but I'm just looking for value for money. For me, something like this should do fine, this isn't without haggling with retentions so it could work out better.
    200 minutes
    300 texts
    500MB Internet
    + Unlimited landline calls

£25 a month, with a free phone. 24 month contract through. I'm thinking of getting the most expensive phone I can get for free and then selling it to raise funds for the Iphone 4.

I guess I'll need to put up around £350, and then buy from Apple. How hard is it to cut a SIM card so it's a micro sim that I can put it in the Iphone?

i have been given an iphone 3g i am with 02 and have been on simplicity since 2008 i had unlimited 02 to 02 phonecalls and texts 240 mins and 300 texts for £15 i am now on simplicity 300 which is 300 mins and unlimited texts apart from mms which is 20 and 500 mb internet and unlimited wifi (which i will prob not use as i use my own wifi at home and at work)

I wanted to keep my other deal and just add a bolt on for the internet but they couldnt do that, my voice mail etc comes out of my allowance. They said on average i used 180 mins but that was because my friend was on 02 my brothers are, my mum and my partner, i used mins when i rang my daughters. Now im not sure i will have enough mins per month as i only ring my mate once a month she hasnt got a home phone and im on the phone for an hour.

What other deal can i get, i got told 02 are a little bit dearer because of coverage i know i have had a better signal with them as on t mobile when i went to my friends in worcester i was lucky if i got a signal

anyone know of any better deals or am i on the right deal i only switched over on sat
  • Just thought I'd put an update I've seen on the Three website. They are know offering:

    500 minutes,
    5000 texts,
    1GB internet,
    24 month contract.
    iPhone is £29.
    £35/month contract

Was considering accepting a deal from Orange for the Motorola Atrix when that comes out but may now be persauded to pay the £29 for the iPhone from Three.
  • fyi, white iPhone 4 comes out tomorrow (28 April 2011)

    i cant post the link........*shrugs*
  • I'm currently on Orange and will shortly have an iPhone 4 so I'm looking at SIM only deals.

Orange have made me a very decent offer for a rolling 30 day contract.

But from looking at other deals I see T Mobile does one at a very similar price. Now I've never used cashback sites but I noticed that topcashback.co.uk has £80.80 cashback off T Mobile pay monthly SIMs.

First question, has anyone actually tried this and does it work?

Secondly, if I buy the SIM through this on T Mobile's website, does it allow you to specify that you want a micro-SIM? I can't see an option anywhere. Would it work to place the order and then ring customer services?

The possibility of getting the cashback would swing my decision between staying on Orange or switching.

Quidco are offering £150 cashback for new customers buying an iphone on pay monthly with Orange. Deal runs out friday

I'm only on an o2 simplicity sim with an old phone so might go for it, £35 a month on orange for a free 3gs iphone and the £150 cashback, sounds half decent to me
