As for the Quidco offers for direct Vodafone purchases, yes it now says £40 for 12 month contracts but I can swear that yesterday it was saying £140 for any iphone contract (maybe they amended the offer since then).QUOTE]

Agree, they seem to have pulled them from the offers, which is pretty annoying. Maybe they are gearing up to the release of iPhone5? Does anyone have any indication as to when that is going to be released? I can upgrade now, but contract doesn't run out for another 3 months..... still undecided re the costs of this lifestyle choice!!

The new iphone might get released probbaly in June/July. As for the Vodafone 12 month £50 pm contract with £80 quidco cashback equates to a total yearly cost of £619 ( 50*12 + 99 - 80). Now a new Iphone4 costs £510. So you are effectively paying £109 a year (£9 a month) to get 1200 min, 750MB data and unlimited texts each month. To me that was a good deal even not considering the free 25MB per day Europe roaming allowance.

Hi complete noob here but hopefully someone can help?
I am currently in a 24 month plan with vodafone which doesnt run out untill 26 oct £35 a month 600min unlimited text and mobile internet. The phone i have is shockingly bad(tocco lite by samsung) and i really wnt an iphone4. Now vodafone say i can upgrade early online but it is going to cost me.£50 early upgrade fee plus headset charge dependent on plan and the cheapest plan is £40pm with a headset charge of £139! this seems very steep when 3 charge £29 headset charge for a similar plan. Any ideas on what i can do?

not alot as being as you still have 6 months of your original contract left, why dont you wait till your contract ends anyway, as most probably the new iphone will be out then, so you will be able to get that one
Take every day as it comes!!

Find a cheap smartphone on payg and use that with your sim card. When you are nearer the end of your 24 months look at the iphone again.

Does anyone know how long you have to be on a tariff before you drop down to a lower one. I am due to upgrade next month on O2, I neeeeed an Iphone 4 but the prices are really high. So if I took a higher monthly tariff to get the phone cheaper how long would I have to be on it before dropping down to a cheaper one, hope this makes sense!
    :)
  • My iphone 4 tarrif with o2 (iphone 50 tarrif) i can only downgrade my tarrif once a month from my 8th month bill.

New tariffs only allow you to downgrade once, and I think that is from halfway through your contract. It used to be down 1 tariff per month after the halfway period.

Hello, I was wondering if somebody can help me. I'm looking for an iphone 4 contract for my wife. She needs about 1000 minutes (as a minimum) and about 500 texts. Does anybody know what the best deal out there is currently for a deal like that?

I've seen the 3 deal for £35 a month via phones4u, but I hear that is for refurbed phones?
