I'm a current customer with 3 and phoned to ask for my pak code. They offered me:

    16GB iPhone
Internet talker package (300 mins any network, unlimited internet etc...)
    1000 txt top up

...for £20 per month on a 24 month contract.

Sounds ok to me. What do you think?

You seemed to have got a good deal here. I got all the 'valued customer & exceptional deal' blurb then offered 300 min any network, freee 3to3, unlimited texts and internet but 3GS Iphone at £99 & £30pcm for 24 months - Insisted that this was best deal available and nobody else is getting better!

there's a strong rumor that iphone 4g will be coming with a micro sim so obviously I'll have to get my sim changed and may be they won't even offer me that.

You can just chop the end of your normal sim with a pair of scissors. to make it a microsim. Its the same sim but with less spare plastic.

My contract with Orange doesnt run out until August but they've said I can upgrade to an iphone and add the days onto a new contract.

Can I also leave now if I wanted to? I'm only on £15 a month contract so if I cant leave now could I buy myself out for a pac code?
  • I have just enquired about upgrading to a 3Gs and the advisor has suggested that I wait for a couple of weeks as the new Apple 4G is due to be released soon. O2 are having a conference next week for the new 4G so dates, tarrifs etc will be available then. Will this then mean that 3Gs iPhones will be even cheaper when the 4G is released. Anyone have any further information?

As so far I know there are several service provider offering free iPhone with there monthly or more subscription.
I need to know what type of service package is good for me. Actually, I mean which packages are friendly to use and cost effective.

    Thanks all.

Does sound like a good deal, but just checked and phone is coming up at £89 online rather than free...I'd wait until after Apple's conference on Monday as you don't want your new phone to arrive only to find out it's been reduced in price the same day.
