Its not coming out next month - its not even official that there is a 4g yet - people believe that it maybe announced next month but it could be december before it comes out due to the Ipad uk launch.0 -
Ah the eternal question of "do I upgrade or don't I upgrade?"
Well the answer is: depends what you want!
If your looking for a good deal on a phone that will do everything and support the next release of the iPhone OS, then by all means get a 3GS (not 3G) as the 3GS will support the next release.
So Pro's of the 3GS
- Good deals to be had
- Will be fully compatible with OS4.0
- Reasonably future proof
- Still an iphone
Cons:
- Soon to be outdated tech.
So what about waiting until June? There's a new iphone release on the horizon, although Apple won't admit to it. I know it, you know it, your pets know it and by all chances your current phone knows it too.
So pro's and con's
Pro:
- Latest and greatest device
- You get that magical experience of having the latest in Apple tech
- It's an iphone?
Con's
- Stupidly crazy cost at start - Apple know you'll do anything to get it.. so they'll bill you for it too
Hope that makes it easier for you guys:exclamatiTo the internet.. I need to complain about something!0 -

What joke, iphone releasing in December....:rotfl:
Apple never ever announced any of their product releases in advance, nor they gonna do that for iphone 4g
The only way to find out is from tech journalist and blogs and there are people out there watching apple's every move and they accurately predicted almost all of the iphone's previous releases.
Here's the latest update and is coming from apple's manufacturing parter foxcomm.
Report: Apple readying 24 million units of next iPhone

I am hoping it's June or July, more likely to be July I thinks. Im not going to upgrade between then and now, I want my name to be on the list for a brand new one on o2, Just hoping it's not going to be silly money. My tariff is currently £25 a month as I got a friends/family discount, but they have stopped doing this now so I will be in a predicament when they launch the phone, as the handset cost is going to go for silly money i thinks0

My vodafone contract has almost expired and I don't fancy staying with them for 18/24 mths.
I'm going to go to a 12mth SIM contract. Cheapest looks to be O2's £15/mth for 3oomins/unlimited texts/unlimited web-data usage.
Problem is I don't have an iPhone yet and want the 3GS 32GB.
Any suggestions for best current deals and taking in cashback offers currently available?
