Just got free refurb 16 gb 3GS iphone with 12 month warranty, 300 mins, unlimited texts and data 24 mth contract £30 a month. I rarely go over 60 mins a month calls (mainly use for texting) but the £25 tariff for lower calls was £120 for handset so not worth it to me - however she did explain that after 9 months I can drop to the £25 month tariff.

I am pleased with that because my previous £15 month deal ended in April and shot up to £37 pm - which was only 400 calls and 600 texts - and I had already asked for (and got) my pac number because they couldn't do anything for me.

The downside is that I lose my 4 for 1 texting abroad, which is a nuisance, but I'll just have to look at local or international sims and/or use my laptop for free texts and skype calls (unless anyone has any other tips for cheap calls/texts abroad?)

Got a refurbished black 3gs 16gb for free with 300 mins, unlimited texts and data for £33 a month on an 18 month contract! Should arrive tomorrow.

Just called o2 and got a good deal.

recon iphone for £25, 600 mins unlimited texts for £27pm on 24month contract & broadband free for 6 months then £17.50pm & home phone for £10pm on 12 month contract. He also said if i reduced my contract in 9 months I will keep the £8 discount on th tariff for the rest of my contract.

It ends up i'm paying less for mobile, broadband &home phone than i do now for more minutes and free calls

I rang O2 retentions at 4.30pm today and i did a wee jig:j when they told me the refurbs were in - managed to get £24/mth with 300min, unlimited texts & internet. Also only had to pay £75 for the iphone.

Should be with me by Friday.

iPad was released in the USA a while ago and they've never made a big deal about launches in other countries - not to mention that they are having severe stock issues with the iPad which is why it's been delayed over here.

is there any movement on tarriff?

and can you definately downgrade after 9 months with Orange?

Haven't heard anything about orange doing refurbs to be fair, and my girlfriend who's on orange doesn't think you can downgrade after 9 months with them, you can with o2 though.
