dawg5, it may be possible to resolve your problems with a restore using iTunes. If you're still having problems after a restore it's probably a hardware fault - take it to your local Apple/O2/CPW store and they will sort things out for you.0

yes it is...
8gb - 340 ish
16gb - 440 ish
32gb - 540 ish
that price doesn't include a £10 top up, and has been information on o2.co.uk/iphone for the past week and a half...0 -
CPW are also offering up to £180 to trade in your old iPhone. £100 for 2g, £170 for 3g 8gb and £180 for 16gb.0

if going through the Quidco / mobiles.co.uk route then its worth knowing that if you use the code VCCOM at the checkout, you get a free BT JABRA BLUETOOTH 2010!! worth about £20 or so!
Does this work - I have done this but am now worried if it has jeoperdised my chances of cashback as Quidico mention on their website not to use any additional codes?? Am worried(

Our o2 shop are hopeless. Card flagged up for authorisation as it'd been used for 2 large transactions in different parts of the country but the cashier didn't know what to do so she kind of abandoned it and tried a second time. Same issue but it seems like she ignored it and printed out the receipt somehow.
Transactions normally appear immediately with this bank, but this morning - nothing listed. Bank are adamant that neither transaction went through because they're both waiting for customer verification.
Being the honest sort (and they'd get hold of us eventually anyway), went to try and sort it out - preferably on another card. Only to get told "you have a receipt so it definitely went through" and treated with contempt for trying to make matters difficult. The staff were umming and ahhing and digging out numbers but had no idea what they were doing?? Looked a right cowboy outfit.
Eventually decided to take o2's word for it. I'm sure they'll be in touch, but if I ended up with a free iPhone it serves them right for being both incompetent and arrogant.0 -

I thought they did not do the iphone 3GS on 8gb pay and go:
From o2 site
"You don't need a monthly contract to get an iPhone 3G or iPhone 3G S. There are three models to choose from:"- iPhone 3G 8GB - £342.50
- iPhone 3G S 16GB - £440.40
- iPhone 3G S 32GB - £538.30

I just paid £89 for the phone through mobiles.co.uk on the same tariff due to the higher cashback (£60). But even with the lower cashback (£45) from carphone warehouse, you are still quids in due to the fact that the handset is free! Do you think there is any point disputing the cost of the handset with mobiles.co.uk by referring them to the carphonewarehouse website?
I cannot see this offer on CPW. I only see the 16GB free on the 24 month contract.0 -
Does anyone know where the best cashback is offered for a PAYG iPhone 3G S (16GB)?
Most of the cashback offers are based on contract iphones - the best I can find for PAYG iphone is 4% from the Apple Store (quidco)0
