I know there is another thread but that is too big.

1. PAYG
2.CONTRACT
thanksMy posts are just my opinions and are not offered as legal advice - though I consider them darn fine opinions none the less.:cool2:
My bad spelling...well I rush type these opinions on my own time, so sorry, but they are free.:o0 -
I have been offered a 16gig 3Gs refurb for free on an 18 month contract, 600 mins, unlimited texts and web for £35- is this a good deal?
Also, are there any issues with the refurbs? or would I find it the same as a new handset?
yeah did u get offered a refub??there aren't any in stock-a few of us been waiting for ages for one0 -
Has anyone on orange managed to get a better deal on an iPhone 32 3GS as an upgrade? As opposed to the standard new customer prices?
Need an iPhone and am due an upgrade in two weeks with orange, just wondering whether to try, or whether it'll be a waste of time.
TIA.
Just wait for the new one IMOslenderkitten wrote: »i hope i can get a better deal for a new 3gs 32gb by the time i upgrade on orange in three months time
The new iPhone will be getting close to release then, I'd just wait.0 -

Im hoping I'll be able to get a 16gb 3gs refurb for free on the 100mins unltd text £30 tariff. Does anyone know if it will be possible to haggle the monthly cost down on this?
People are getting much better deals than that, if you read the last 5 pages you'll see...0 -

Still a little more than Tesco but saved the hassle of moving over.
I cancelled the order this afternoon tho' as they have none in stock, might get one in 1-2 weeks despite telling me it would be dispatched same day!
Still a good deal but its the second time this week they have been less than truthful, retentions seem to be a law unto themselves!
I may aswell pay the larger upfront costs from tesco and get the better deal in the long run.
Assuming thats brand new? As if it was refurb, that was a shocking deal0 -

Was this today you were offered? Ive been told to keep trying until theres more in stock. Theres people who reckon they have had these for 30ppm on the 18 month deal you mentioned. I think its possible to get the 32gig 3gs for free on the £35 deal. This is pure speculation from the posts in this thread though as O2 wont start haggling with me until they have them in stock!
I was offered this on Monday - but they had none in stock - so I've got something written on my notes for the offer so when the refurbed 3Gs's come back in stock I will have the option of getting this deal. I'm tempted, though pretty sure I don't need all those minutes so am hoping to drop to the 300 minute mark and make more savings0 -

Tesco are not part of O2 so to speak, anymore than Virgin are part of T-Mobile. and Asda Mobile are part of Vodafone.
They just rent capacity off the network and are not affiliated with them.0 -
Does anyone out there know where the best place is to get THREE iPhones?
Myself and the wife are currently on Orange and due an upgrade in a week or so, and I also want a NEW iPhone for my business partner with new number etc.
Surely someone will be prepared to do a deal on three iPhones? Or do I just upgrade the two on orange, and then get a tesco one for my business partner?
Also, does cashback from mobile sites work when upgrading?0 -
These new simplicity i-phone tariffs are pretty good. As per Martins email linky, as low as £15 a month for 12 months and buy a iPhone off Ebay. Much better than taking out a 18/24 month contract.0
