Refurbished 16Gb 3G were in stock this morning with O2.
Offered £35p/m for 18 months, with 300 mins, unlimited text and data and the handset costs..................£1
Good enough for me0 -
Kevster, Is that the 3G or 3GS? If its the 3Gs I'll give them a call after my work0

Does anyone out there know where the best place is to get THREE iPhones?
Myself and the wife are currently on Orange and due an upgrade in a week or so, and I also want a NEW iPhone for my business partner with new number etc.
Surely someone will be prepared to do a deal on three iPhones? Or do I just upgrade the two on orange, and then get a tesco one for my business partner?
Also, does cashback from mobile sites work when upgrading?
You'd think they would give you a discount, but I think they probably can't because of Apple's price fixing.0 -
It was the 3G. Given that I've never used a 3GS before the 3G will be fast enough.0

I think you're being bit ureasonable here....
o2 do offer genuine upgrades to customers on the iPhone, but they can only do this on the reurbished iPhones that Apple send them.
That is not correct. I "upgraded" my O2 simplicity to iPhone 3GS, 32GB, brand new and the upfront cost was waived off for me.0 -
still no 3gs refurb in stock0

Yep I know, I read your post.... however, I don't think anyone else has had this deal, sonot sure how you got that deal..... o2 employee must have made a booboo, unless o2 fronted the cost of your handset0 -

No you can't upgrade through a cashback site, new contracts only.
There are no deals, no matter how many you want. Apple set the price, that's why it's much the same on all the networks.
Bare in mind if you get one from Tesco, it will be locked to Tesco so you'll need to unlock it.0 -
I chose to buy a 3GS outright as I couldn't wait for the upgrade from my 3G.
To be honest the difference once the Version 3 software upgrade was installed on the 3G wasn't worth the extra cost although the compass capability really helps with maps.
My O2 contract expires in June however they allow you to switch tariffs 3 months early (!!). I've just changed to the Simplicity iPhone tariff at £20/month rather than the £35 previously - RESULT !!
Just waiting for the 'new' iPhone to be announced and will then look for the best deal. As an O2 Gold customer (whatever that is) I'm hoping they'll offer a good deal.0 -

I've just been offered £160 cashback with e2save with a motorola milestone, I'd imagine it's totally different for iPhone though0
