    HTH - Rufus.
  • Were I to buy this AV Sender (or any other for that matter), could I watch terrestrial TV on the main TV(sender) and Sky on the portable(receiver) at the same time?

i.e. Me watching the Sky footy on the portable, while my gf watches eastenders on the main TV
  • Hi. Just to save others from wasting time, this is only available in bigger tesco stores (not sure what they mean by bigger, store in Scarborough is pretty big but they don't stock there) might be worth a phone call before travelling. Gutted! :'(

I saw this product in Oban which is not a "big" Tesco, before seeing it in my local Tesco Extra.

I bought one from Lidl and didn't know how well it would work as we have quite a large victorian house with thick walls. But plugged it into the back of my sky box using the 2 way scart adaptor and then put the receiver up stairs in the bedroom and superb. Can watch sky upstairs. Had a few more early nights since ;) ;D. Got another sky remote control and it works a treat. Moved it into the kitchen tonight so I could watch a film while cooking dinner. Kids were amazed.... cost me £17.00. Would recommend.
    Regards

  • Help please! Bought the AV sender from Tescos but there were no instructions in the box (it was the only one left as well). ???

I've got the system connected OK - transmitter on Sky box downstairs; receiver on TV upstairs, picture coming through OK but can't change channels on my Sky (Pace) box from upstairs.

    Any ideas ?

    Thanks

To get it working with a Pace Digibox......
Plug the little "Remote Extender" into the back of the transmitter and place one of the little "eyes" over the remote sensor on the Digibox.
    All should then be ok.
The little eye needs to see the sensor for the remote to work.
