I bought a nerw Sony portable for the bedroom and plugged it into the ariel socket only to find the socket didn't work!!!! Fuming with the poor work quality, but too late to do anything. So, would these kinds of devices enable me to piggy back on my main Freeview/Tv system in the lounge? Could be an ideal solution for me :-)0

This is a good spot if it changes channels on an NTL Pace box, as most of the other budget AV senders only have full functionality with Sky set-top boxes.
 Good price too.0

Just been to my local tesco in Newcastle and got one.
 Superb!
Got sky in my bed room now all working from the sky remote. AllI need now is to get a spare Sky remote from somewhere to save me taking it back and forward.
When you consider my freeeview box cost £50 and I get about 30 channels and with this im getting nearly 300.
 Well spotted!0
