You don't need to go to maplins, the one that is selling in Tesco's will work fine with Sky.
  • Does anyone know if this will work with the telewest pace cable receiver? I already have this patched from my lounge to the bedroom via coax but it would be great to be able to change channels( I have a very demanding wife and my legs are now weary!)
  • Microwaves absolutely mash the reception rather than just interfere!
  • Thanks Sam58 - been looking out for one for a while - got it from Tesco last night and set it up in minutes. As you say, works a treat.
    cheers

  • Can ayone advise?

I have a Pace Freeview double digital tuner box with incorporated hard drive (not a Sky + box) which is plumbed into an RF amplifier distribution system around the house - hence sound and vison is available in all rooms. We often watch TV in another room -separate from the location of the digi box.

I would like to be able to use the digi box remote control from this other room. Is there a device out there which can do this for us?

This should work for you, it should be able to control anything you throw at it.

For those who have one these Tesco AV Senders, can anyone tell me how many 'channels' they have - most others have 4 - does this model ? This is useful when you have more than one of the AV transmitters set up.

    Thanks, Andy
