Part of the Furniture Combo Breaker
got one yesterday but i can only get it to work when plug into the scart of the video then watch the video channel on telly, it will not work when i put it straight intothe scart of my dvd combi, dunno if this makes a difference cos its a combi but the picture is perfect and it works no probs with the sky remote.

    Cashman.
Are you sure you are selecting the correct input on your TV's remote?  If you plug say a Gamecube or PS2 into the SCART and find the picture then swap to the Videosender its picture should be there instead!
    Try looking for 0, AV1, AV2 or similar.  :)

    Just a quick thought.
I am wondering if I can use it to transfer video/sounds from PC to TV ???? Anyone tried it???

For example, the PC graphic card has S-Video out. Can we connect S-Video + sound from PC to an "S-Video + 2RCA --- SCART" adapter of the transmiter to send picture/sounds to the receiver which is connected to the TV ???

Just been to my local tesco in Newcastle and got one.
    Superb!
Got sky in my bed room now all working from the sky remote. AllI need now is to get a spare Sky remote from somewhere to save me taking it back and forward.
When you consider my freeeview box cost £50 and I get about 30 channels and with this im getting nearly 300.

    Well spotted!

    300 hows that?
If I helped or saved you money - Thank me
If I helped you spend some money - spank me
    If I done both - :lipsrseal me:eek:

Hi, I have a big family......

would th av sender be capable of transmitting to more than one TV (i.e. one transmitter to two teles?)

    Thanks,

    Al

Yes you could have 2 or more televisions in seperate rooms receiving the transmitted picture, of course you would need to purchase extra kits in order to gain the wanted extra receivers though and the viewers will be fighting over who has the remote to change channel with ::)

There is no reason why you couldn't transmit to multiple televisions.

The kit comes with one transmitter, and one receiver, but provided you obtain a receiver for each additional television, you should be fine.

    The only caveats are:

    1) Tesco don't sell the receivers on their own, so you'd have to buy a number of kits and bin the unwanted transmitters. You may find it cheaper to buy from somewhere that sells receivers on their own e.g. Maplin.

    2) You'd only have one remote, so each family member would have to watch the same channel and only one person could have the ability to change channels.

    3) The antenna in the sender is directional, therefore you may have difficulty positioning it so that all the receivers get a good signal. Only likely to be a problem if the transmitter is in the center of the house, and the receivers at opposite corners!

    HTH - Rufus.

A link on this page shows what spec they are - not a bad deal though

    https://www.medionshop.co.uk/
search on their shop search with sender - its an MD9048
