    Hi Guys

Apols for not posting in last couple days - heads been up my !!!!, although its actually been a couple of good days foodwise
This is because after 120 odd days of binge free eating - i could feel myself testing my boundries - pushing to eat more and more. Anyway the killer choice came last night at a buffee - i'd eaten all my kcals for the day (by 4pm) and it would have been so easy to pig out and justify the binge, but I made a choice to look after my body and not gorge.

I'm not saying it wasn't tough, because it was - watching everyone else eat away, but I remembered myself in the past - and imagined what what happen if i gave in (at least 3-5 days of complete binge eating) and walked away.

It gave me the biggest buzz and i'm right back on program, so i thought i'd share that tale with you all.

    Food today

    2 toast and tuna
fresh pea soup and 1 bread and tuna
    frozen fruit and yogout
fresh pea soup and 1 bread and tuna
    my saintly sugar free jelly

    app. 1500 kcals
love you all - so happy to be back - will post longer later

    hugs

    welcome back Caterina!
big hugs to you rockie, so sorry that the news is no more positive, still keeping those fingers crossed

and a massive congrats to you rambler, well done! that is exactly the position that i want to get to, and i know how hard you work at it so it's great to hear someone achieve it (and also to hear how great you feel for doing it) woo hoo!!

as for me, my bad night continued after i checked in last night - i had a few cream crakers with more tapenade, and also an alpro dessert. went to spin this morning and left exhausted, but only feeling like i'd burnt off last night's excesses rather than gaining any proper ground, grrrr!

anyway, today is another day (although it already appears to be going down hill!)
b - golden syrup oats so simple w. skimmed milk and water
l 1 - mediterranean cous cous (thought i'd eat half my lunch before going out to the shops, as i'm starving!)
l2 - toasted pitta with half a fishcake and some leftover veg
s - drat, just realised that i forgot my yoghurt, will pick one up while i'm out. and probably some oatcakes after pump after work
t - out at a friends, so probably dips with pita chips (will take veg sticks as well), some sort of barbecue with lots of veggies, a horrendous dessert (i'll try to resist, but see the next item on the list!) and lots of wine - 2 of the guests have handed in their dissertations today so i'm letting my no-drinking plans slide. i think it's better to accept that i'll have some in advance, rather than give in part way into the evening and go all out!
hopefully going to the gym beore i go for dinner will make me feel better about it anyway

have a great day everyone, read rambler's story to keep you motivated if you're wavering!!

Afternoon all...spent until 2am looking at new appliances for kitchen refit...seems as if it is actually going to happen soon, feeling excited but we'll see, I had a disastrous extension which cost me over £40k about ten years ago, had to pay somebody to fix anything that could be fixed so I am paranoid about being careful with my money now....sorry for going off topic but it still hurts...anyway, I was tired this morning and just had breakfast at 11.30...
    I ate:

1 peach, 1 weetabix with milk and banana, 2 glasses water....not sure what I will eat for the rest of the day...

OH rushing to go to town.. back later

Afternoon all, well I am really struggling with procrastination today, didnt have breakfast til 11.30. I have been doing some baking today. Big mistake, lunch was 2 Hm bread rolls with sausages in them and a couple of HM biscuits. Ahhhhh.

Tonight I will have a couple of scrambled eggs and an apple for dinner.

Well done all the losers and STS's.And those who gained, I feel your pain, too many nice food type stuff out there even better when its homemade.

    have a great afternoon all.

  • My friend has lost nearly 2 stone now since joining this thread and has totally inspired me to join. Although due to my lack of knowledge of forums it has taken me nearly 6 weeks to work out what to do to join!! I have my own allotment and have had a very good first year with veg and chickens. Now need to address my weight and have set a target of 2 stone by Christmas (sorry to mention that word in what is supposed to be summer!) Have now got a bike and am trying to ride to work as much as possible. Hopefully will find some useful hints and tips from you guys.

Well done! It's great when you feel in control rather than the food controlling you!
