For those who don't know I set myself a target I MUST NOT go over - its 2134 - my binge level. Today i reckon i'll be eating about 2100 kcals so i'm going to have to be careful - make sure i leave the pudding to reasonably late. I'm hoping because i'm planning it - it should stop any problems later

It's not fair! We gals have to keep to about 1500 calories if we're going to lose weight. Some of us would kill to be allowed 2000. Goes off to sulk...;)

I'm going to try this diet I found somewhere next week when my boyfriend is going away for a while. I can't seem to diet with him around. The diet is on a piece of paper so here:

A few people found it pretty useful ... a girl lost about 5 kg ... I'm not sure but it sounds simple enough :\

anyone want to try with me?

Thanks magically, but no thanks! Did some kind of a diet years ago which involved lots of eggs and little else....stuck it for three awful days until the headache got so bad I thought that I was having a brain haemorrhage...so couldn't handle the eggs bit again.

Was reasonably good to-day, stuck to my plan, felt very hungry some time ago so had a slice of bread with hummous, off to bed soon so will be fine then.

    Sleep well all

    Morning all :hello:

Great big welcome to SLM & Natty, hope you find this thread helpful if only to laugh at us :D .
Well done everyone who's lost and STS, I'm so proud of you all. :T :T

Anyone fighting the Toad, including me - find the biggest, heaviest pan you're got and spatter the little bleep!!!!! Having a hard time with the little 'ancient one' at present, blood glucose all over the place....still (insulin reduced to half). Me thinks the vets should be on speed dial. Yesterday had to buy biscuits for her and threaten the family and me not to touch them. DH bought some choc and caramel shortcakes on Friday  , but I had to nibble all the choc and caramel off one to give the rest to A1 who was having a mega wobble. Once I get the sugar taste I'm a gonner, but although I've had LOTS of extra's I don't think the calorie content has been too bad. I hope........but I think the August challenge has gone up in smoke and I'll be lucky to STS.

More crawling around under the house for me Friday as new TV arrived and we decided to run a lead from the sky box in lounge to bedroom. Chuffed to bits sitting like lady muck in bed watching DIY SOS that night, oh the luxury of it :D .

Have a great weekend folks. Rockie, hope ex and OH improve soon, thinking of you ((((hugs)))).
    Suz

Sorry magically I'd not survive on that diet.......no breakie aaaarrrrggggg!!!!!!

Morning Peeps...Hiya Newbies:hello: ...finding yer way about the homestead OK?

I went to a b'day bash yesterday & was a very--nay--Xceptionally good girl. I was a designated driver [by choice] & had blackcurrant & soda which looked like B&C from a distance; not that I'm bothered by soft drinks in any means--I get a lot more pleasure from the atmosphere compared to the alcohol :p

Anyhoo plan was I would go to the early bit where people sit around discussing the more favourable attributes of their lives, then come home & No3 offspring would go back for the bits that didn't involve a multitude of aunts marvelling at how tall/short/fat/thin etc etc etc :o plus I'd much prefer my lot to see their cousins who hadn't been around for a couple of months. So I get as close as 5' from the door when Wham! another rellie nabs me for 10mins of banal banter; I try to escape using the 'must go to the little girl's room' ploy, only to come out of there, head down & not trying to run ;) & "MUM! Where ya goin?!" I nearly ended up being locked up for infanticide cuz that little sentance got me nabbed yet again.

Upshot was....I got stuck by the buffet table, desperately trying to not look anyone in the eye &.....snaffled a buffet sausage roll & mini pasty :embarasse

    Morning all,

Crumbs that Copenhagen diet would have me eating the cat. Not much to eat there, is there? You've certainly got willpower to stay with that magically.

Obviously I have none as 4 1/4 lb on this week, dab nabbit. No idea why that much but at the moments its just numbers to me so not getting down with it.
Must pull my socks up next week. Away on hols in a week so will have to take advantage of all the seafood at the coast. ;)

    Take care all.

Well yesterday went a bit out of the window...
    B - cereal, as I said
L - DS had eaten all the bread, so a full english was out, I had a scotch egg and a buttered matzo
D - HM chilli from the freezer, chips and HM guacamole. DH wasn't impressed with it so he had a tin of fruit afterwards.

Then I got a bit mopey because DH hadn't enjoyed his dinner and at 8pm decided to make some summer fruits muffins. The mix made 5 large ones and 24 small ones. DH had a small one and I had two large ones (about 90g each). I reckon they were about 50% fruit though, so bad but not terrible in my opinion.

I'm not hungry yet this morning... after the two muffins I'm not surprised!

edit: I've frozen the rest, otherwise DS will help himself and I shall be cross!
