morning, and well done on the losses people, esp jojob, i don't think i've ever lost weight on holiday before!
as an experiement i weighed myself this morning (usual WI monday) as i know i've got a big boozy weekend coming up - wanted to see what i weigh now to see how much difference the boozing makes, and hopefully to motivate myself to try and control it as much as possible over the weekend (i'm accepting that i'm not going to be 'dieting' and won't be able to get any proper excercise). will let you know the results next week!
ended up having a cheese, tomato and basil bagel for my tea last night as i was so tired when i got home, with a bag of crisps, oops! i know it's not a healthy meal and quite calorie laden, but as a main meal i'm hoping it's not too bad (although i'd already had an ice cream snickers in the afternoon - post appraisal celebration, oops again).
i've got a horrid thick head this morning, nasty sinus thing, which would normally have been an excuse for a treat breakfast but:
b - usual bran flakes, all bran and sultana with ss milk
l - another john west tuna light lunch! no time to cook at the mo, have got 2 small slices wholemeal bread with it today as i was starving after it yesterday and gave in to the ice cream
s - alpro dessert
t - going to make rumbly's slamon steak recipe with new pots and some veggies, whatever comes in the box today. and probably a bottle of wine!
have a great day everyone, sorry for the long post0 -

Hi all and well done the losers:T .... and frogga for getting a grip:T
Been away with work for a couple of days. Indulged in and thoroughly enjoyed a full English on both of them:D Didn't do toooooooo badly apart from that, didn't need lunch other than coffee and rather than go out for a meal on Wednesday night with colleague.... we don't really get on:rolleyes: ..... we both diplomatically decided we were tired and would rather take food up to our respective rooms and veg with the TV, so popped to Mr T's on the way back to the hotel and got one of those little tubs of salad with prawns, 2 custard tarts (well they don't sell them in singles:p ) flavoured water, crisps and a packet of minstrels.... felt like a queen in my jimjams, feet up on the bed watching Coronation Street with that little lot!!
Back on the wagon today. Need to pop out for a few things this morning then I'll be busy decorating my bedroom for the rest of the weekend so lots of exercise and no time for nibbling! Really pleased the decoratings hardly costing anything.... had some vouchers from a survey site which covered most of the paint and the 2 rolls of wallpaper I need!!:T
Know there's lots of weigh in's on Friday so good luck all, and to everyone else over the bank hols weekend!0 -

Morning all,
I am a bit later than usual starting today so haven't had any breakfast yet, might just eat cereal for lunch instead as I haven't brought anything with me. I am not expecting too much from my WI tomorrow due to TOTM bulk and generally feeling pretty rough anyway. I am desperate to break through into being 11-something because thats my normal BMI target range but its proving tricky to get there.
Sometimes I lose sight of just how far I have come in a relatively short time, at the start of this year I was rapidly approaching being 14-something and decided that was it, something had to be done and here I am. It takes time but we'll all get there eventually. It took me 6 years to put it all on and hopefully it will be gone in 6 more months.
I am sending out positive vibes to everyone today, Rambler, it must be catching as your post yesterday inspired meso thanks for that
Went out for tea with a friend last night and it could have all gone so horribly wrong, but it didn't as I looked at the menu online and chose what I wanted before I got too hungry and saw what others were having. Ended up with carpaccio of tuna followed by pasta primavera both of which were delicious and I didn't have an ounce of guilt afterwards.
B: Nothing
L: Either cereal or a jacket potato with beansRoast chicken with sweet potato mash and lots of veggies
Have a fabulous bank holiday all0 -
I have lost 2lb now 16st 4lb:D
I'm very pleased as it is a whole stone off since last September when we started Frogga's challenge.
I feel much better since starting the various medications but the boost in morale that comes from everyone on here has really helped.
Thankyou cyber friends
I may be a tortoise in loosing weight but it will get there.
Only 100lb to go now!!!

Well done losers...and the little frog for copping on!
Happy to report that I have lost 2 lbs this week, so hopefully next week I will be able to report that I am 13 something...our August bank holiday was on first Monday so no excuses here...apart from going to a 'wedding party' to-night and not sure what the food will be, could be full 4 course although I hope that it is just finger food, that can be nibbled at without doing too much damage...still on track for 12s11 for Christmas...one pound a week will get me there and I will be a very happy person.
Today I have eaten:
B...1 weetabix with banana, milk;
L....Tuna or sardine sandwich on rye bread, salad, apple;
D....Spag bol or chilli...not sure yet, with pickled red cabbage from yesterday for me
Snacks.....orange, apple.
Have a good day all...congratulations to any losers coming later

Here I am, I had my WI this morning, on my new scales. I can report that I've lost 9 lbs over two weeks so for this week I'm reporting a 4.5 lbs loss! :j
It doesn't look like I'm going to make my A in A target by a week on Sunday, of getting below 13 stone, but I'll try!
Well done to the other losers and STSs, and commiserations to the gainers. Don't give up!"...And if it don't feel good, what are you doing it for?" - Robbie Williams - 'Candy'0
