oh rockie, poor you, big hugs... hope you manage to get everything sorted in the end
as for weightloss, my day is slowly sliding downhill - had a couple of oatcakes with a dozen olives in brine on top of my sarnie for lunch as i was starving, stupid hangover. got to fight the urge to say 'i'm hungover, i may as well eat what i want to make myself feel better and start again tomorrow' - don't do it bigsmoke, don't do it!!0 -
Not a good day for me, OH has been diagnosed with major depression and is back on antid's while we wait for an assessment. Then we'd just come out of the docs when DD rang to say exOH is back in theatre, things looking not good.
I've had boiled eggs and rye toast this morning and have just made my self eat a couple of oatcakes with hummus.
Not feeling very clever myself.
MrsM - that's cruel showing that cake!!
I'll try and get back later.Jane

Rockie ((((((((((((((((((((HUGS))))))))))))))))))))))) to you and yours matey , hope things are ok soon.
MRSM ~ that cake looks yucky. I hate Banana in cake, and ginger, and I dont know what Parkin is , but it sounds like a Yorkshire chat show Hoast so that's just wrong and I bet I wouldn't like it anyway
Great to see you back Kentish Maid
Well , you all thought I was off having plastering done didn't you? That was just a fib to keep you off the scent ~ I've actually been in the Olympics :j Yes, honestly, I have :T I got a call on Friday from Seb Coe who offered me a last minute call up for the "GB Binge Eating Team". I was so thrilled so I packed my case and off I hopped. I gotta tell you, in this last week I've done brilliantly. I've stuffed and stuffed and , hold on to yourself, I've put on 9lb which means ~ I won the GOLD!!!! :T :T :T I'm officially the bestest Binger in the World :j Clever Frog(
)
I know it's a crap excuse but the house has been upside down this week and everything's gone to pot. I packed away everything in here ready for the plasterer to come , but he put us off 3 times and in the end Mr Frog told him to forget it ( well it began with an F) so it's still not done. Mr frog is going to do it Himself but we'll probably have to wait til Christmas holidays now. He was going to do it himself originally but thought it would be quicker to get someone in
We've decorated the tadpoles rooms too and had carpets fitted and it was typical that Mr frog was stuck out on Tuesday and ran out of drive time so I had to put it ALL back on my own. Didn't feel like cooking again so we got takeaway.
So to cut a long excuse short I've been eating for England as I've just been really Topsy Turvy and couldn't keep a grip on everything ( and my eating is always the first thing to go) I am now in a quandry as to what to do next. Mr Frog is off work next week which is the last week before I start my new job. I think it is unrealistic of me to think I could be good next week. My first day of my new job is Mon 1st Sept and that feels like a good day to start again, new job, fresh start and all that. If I could just stop stuffing and take things easy I wouldn't put any more back on. Actually I could even loose some as I know most of it is sheer volume of food inside me, and it's TOTM
Anyway, I'll get there oneday, but in the meanwhile at least it makes some of you feel better that you're not this bad

Frogga, stop putting it off/making excuses just do it. I didn't understand why you needed two weeks just to enjoy your food
before starting your job. Binging does not sound like fun, and you know you feel better about yourself if you are treating yourself with respect and eating heathily. I really like you, you're my most favourite frog but your body must find it hard to cope.
Sorry if I'm not supportive but I want better for you and I'm pre-monsterous with a capital P.0 -
Morning all,
TOTM has ensured I feel thoroughly carp today, all lardy and wanting sweeties which may explain why I ate 10 Daim candys and 3 strands of soft liquorice yesterday. Not sure what today holds for me in work, could end up being quite manic or deathly quiet. Either way I'm not fancying my lunch much at all, its Borscht that I made with fresh beets from the farmers market but I blended it too much so its completely smooth and a bit like baby food because its sweet. It really needs a big dollop of sour cream and chives but I have neither here in work
B: Porridge made with skimmed milk and water
L: Borscht and wholemeal rollNot sure yet, OH is in work so it will probably be something easy like beans on toast or a sandwich
S: Skinny cappuccino, banana, apple
Have a good day all0
