    Hello folks :hello:
I've been minding the grandkids today and I'm exhausted!

WI this morning was a STS which I'm pleased about as I've not had the best of weeks!

I had porridge with fruit this morning, a bag of chips at lunchtime, and pea and potato cakes with broad beans and carrots fresh from the lotty for tea.

exOH is still sedated, they're going to try waking him tomorrow now but he's still very weak so they might have to wait.......

I think I might have a large G+T tonight.....medicinal reasons of course!!! and yes MrsM I AM looking after myself, I learnt that lesson a long time ago.

    See you tomorrow folks!

Well done to all the losers!!!!!!

Just want to say another thanks to you all for your wise words and advice the other wk. I never took the loan and managed to pay the catalogue bill, still a tad short for bills due out on the first but OH is doing some overtime at work this wk n next so hopefully that should cover it. Hopefully i'll get this xmas temp job i've just applied for too (yep i kno its only august). Been out of work now for 6months n finding it really difficult to get anything. Anything i have applied for i've been knocked back for coz i'm not 'flexible enough'. I hate that. Anyhoo i'll keep my fingers crossed for that too.

    Today

Well I can safely say there is no way I will have lost or even STS when I WI tomorrow. OH hadn't been shopping for tea so we ended up going out, our local mediterranean place was closed so we ended up getting curry.

So my dinner today: Veg dhansak with chick pea rice and 1/2 a spicy spinach side dish. 2 poppadoms and chutney

Never mind, had only eaten 400 cals up until then so that leaves me with 1000 to cover dinner so taking that into account I should only be a little bit over. I just won't cross my fingers for tomorrow :)

A big well done to all the people who put effort into what their doing.....

That's the tough bit.... i have a friend who manages to lose weight really easy (hate her really,not....but want to....lol) and she doesn't appreciate that sometimes I need to work quite hard to even stay the same....

So a big pat on the back to all my partners in crime on this page for your inspiring words and actions...

After reading through the many pages i would like to join you in the weight loss please. I have been trying for two months with another group and seem to need food constantly - much more than normal. I lost 4 lb but then put it straight back on again. I also need keep costs down rather than buying special food for me. i need sensible family food. I would like to get to 10 1/2 stone and am currently 14 stone. I know it will take a while which is why i need constant kicks up the bum to keep me motivate!
