morning everyone and well done to all the losers and STS-ers!!
well, a really mixed week for me - some really good days and some really bad days, but WI this morning and i've lost 1 lb.
i'm a bit disappointed tbh, not with the loss but with myself - if i hadn't been so rubbish on certain occassions this just goes to show that i could have done really well, i think! still, i had the spectacular 7lbs off last week, so i should really be pleased that none of that has gone back on.
oh, and it means that i'm now under 11st (10.13 hahaha!). determined not to go back over that barrier so will have to be really good. i have friends staying over the bank holiday and that normally means massive boze and food binges, but going to try really hard to plan ahead to save myself from some of the worst of it.
today:
b - all bran, bran flakes and sultanas with semi-skimmed (no skimmed int he shop today)
l - 2 small pieces wholemeal toast with tinned sardine (might try to only eat half, we'll see!)
s - yoghurt
d - not sure yet maybe halloumi veg kebabs, or maybe just a load of veggies with some spuds or something.
such an exhausting weekend i haven't planned anything, so home around 8 after kung fu tonight, eat and have an hour frantically tidying/washing/planning, if i can make myself do it! this week's going to be really really busy, so will have to be organised if i'm not going to fall off the wagon completely
have a great day everyone, and don't be gone too long frogga!0 -
Afternoon all,
Feel all bloated and FAT after my 2 naughty days, so will be trying to be extra good for next few days so that there is no increase on Friday.
Today I have eaten:
B. Banana;
L...Bowl of soup, hm, lots of veg, lentils and beans
D....Maybe another bowl of soup, or left over curry with rice
S....apples and pears..
Haven't read to-day's thread, so congratulations to losers and chin up to gainers!

No lose for me this week!!
Had some bad news, my father who had cancer last year, has been in remmision for 11 mths, well 1 of his blood tests has come back and is `worrying`, he says not to worry, test is to be repeated as others are ok. But can`t help it.
So fell off the wagon a bit.
Going to try this week though.
Just got back from cinema-ate nothing and pizza hut with 5 x 9 year old boys-sons birthday treat, I only had a small bit of pizza,2 bites thats all.
Have 3 1/2s of peppers with ratatuollie n coucous cooking in remoska so that will do for lunch/tea.
I have to be positive and not turn to food to make me feel better!! maybe if I say it enough, it will happen?0 -

Breakfast-porridge (resisted a big fat bacon buttie, dripping with butter and brown sauce:cool: )

Giving ginger beer a miss-couldn't understand why I was finding it so hard to get to sleep over last week-reckon it was this as I'm not a big fizzy juice fan at all normally0 -

1lb on for me this morning.....no surprises there, I'm relieved it wasn't more!! had another piggy day yesterday just to round a disasterous week off nicely but I've drawn a big fat black line under it now and am determined to get back on track........saying that, I'm finishing work early tomorrow to get the train, got a 2 day course Wed and Thurs so 2 nights in a hotel and I'm looking forward to the brekkies. Wouldn't dream of doing the full fry up thing for myself at home but its different being away....don't really want to go and don't especially get on with the colleague I'm going with so got to find something positive about it, even if it is food!!
Hope everyone has a good week!0 -
Evening folks :hello:
I've just found out that ex OH is out of theatre and his op went ok so hugely relieved for my DD, she has been really worried about her dad.
I had mushrooms stuffed with spinach and rice with garlic potatoes for tea, I will try not to nibble tonight  and hopefully manage with a yoghurt and fruit!
Crockpot ((((hugs))))

Hello everyone,
haven't had time to read all the posts, but think this might be the place for me. I got a real shock a couple of weeks ago when I finally weighed myself and realised that I really HAD to do something about my weight if I want to be around to see my kids grow up. Factor in the fact that a friend who is not that much older than me, but is very large, has just had a huge heart attack, it kind of gave me the push I needed.
I am a supply teacher and finished a temporary contract at the end of term. I had been very active with the job and had managed to eat all sorts of rubbish but not put any weight on. Well, job stopped, but eating rubbish continued and unsurprisingly weight went on quickly! I have been really very very good for the past couple of weeks and even bought a wii fit (off ebay so paid a little over the odds, but NEEDED it to help) and have been on it more or less every day since it arrived, but I am fairly down because although I KNOW I've been exercising really hard - dripping in sweat and well out of breath - and have been really good food wise, it says I've only lost 1lb. I've tried our scales too and it seems to be pretty much the same story. I feel so despondent that I just want to eat loads of chocolate!!!!
I've only got 2 weeks left before I'm (hopefully!!) back at work, and none of my work clothes will fit, can't afford to buy any more, finding it really hard to be good, but enjoying the wii fit. Anyone got any ideas where I'm going wrong?
Thanks.0
