Summermummy - I agree. Which is why I'm down here in my dressing gown, having gone to bed at 10, but my body told me at 11 that I craved a matzo with a small scraping of butter on it. It's probably because at lunchtime I didn't have my 1 1/2 sausages in pastry, I only had the half. And after dinner I had half a nectarine.
I've had a big glass of water now too, so that's it for the night. (((hugs))) all!"...And if it don't feel good, what are you doing it for?" - Robbie Williams - 'Candy'0 -
Morning Peeps,
Like Cranks said , The best Laid Plans of mice and Frogs and all that ..................................
Didn't have a good weekend food wise. Mr Frog is in the middle of decorating and I have ALL of the Tadpoles bedrooms in my bedroom IYKWIM. The house is upside down and we are in total chaos here. Consequently my eating has been chaotic too.
I can't help the feeling that it's only 2 weeks til the end of the hols and then on Sept 1st I start my new job so I'm already thinking I'll make a concerted effort and new start no. 67 then  I don't know. I want to enjoy the last 2 weeks food wise but not go mad. I know what I'm like though, probably wont work
Anyway, the room that houses the PC is being plastered next so we are packing the pc away and therefore I'll be offline for a bit. I was saying to RS that I'll have to start weening myself off of here soon as I really wont get the time to come on as much as I do now once my job starts.
I'm just gonna try and be "normal" from now on. No megga binges, just eat it if I want it but don't go mad. I've made a pact to myself that when I start my new job it's a whole new me. I'll put the old bingey Frog away and try to change things for the better.
Don't know how long I'll have to be off line. Tadpole 1 might let me use her Lap top if If ask nicely so I'll see.

I'm stressed today, apart from the home situation, my ex OH has his cancer op today:eek: work is manic and I'm on my own here as boss is off with a family crisis so I might not be around much today

Hey Yooze Guys.....couldn't really say if I've improved my eating habits or if The Toad is playing mind games
I'm still going thru feeling:- hungry but not a jot of a clue what I fancy; all blown up & exceptionally fatter; as miserable as piggin sin; so  with myself for lacking discipline in--well-everything....if I wasn't a lady-of-a-certain-age, I'd blame totm cuz it's how I've felt all my adult life & only ever came close to resembling 'normal' for two or three days during said time.
Apologies to the male members [...ooooh that doesn't sound right]but I'm booking passage for the next life as a fella.....& a dog-fella at that :rotfl:

Good Morning all :hello: ,
Well done Summermummy & droopydrawers on your shrinkages, congrats both of you. M.E brilliant, that stone will soon be a goner, and good for you putting the money towards the course, and not letting the housekeeping evaporate it, enjoy!
Oh Cranky, what can I say, it sounds like the wedding from hell. Hope to goodness DD's turns out better next year. Bet you couldn't get home fast enough.
(((((Hugs)))))) Rockie.
What a weekend I had!! Spent all yesterday in the roof or under the floors. Ordered the new telly on Saturday and bought 25meter ariel cable which I had to feed from front room under the floor to outside then up into the roof, along the inside and down into the kitchen. DH working all weekend but did manage to help empty the final bits in the roof so I could start laying the insulation. Kitchen the main priority and in two sections, extension part a doddle but old part turned into a nightmare. Has to be accessed by removing a panel and hadn't been cleared out properly since the new boiler was installed in 2002 and the reroofing in 2003. So bin bags full of rubble, foam, battens ect. Took my glasses off so I couldn't see and spiders:eek: , and it worked, never saw a thing. The good side is that I found lots of scrap copper piping which will go on the raised beds to deter the slugs :T . The down side is that it took three and a half rolls of insulation just for the kitchen. EEK I think we might need more. I looked and felt horrendous after all that, itchy, filthy and k****ered. Never a male arround when you need one  !!!!!! However I thank heavens I wasn't at last years weight as it would have been awful trying to squeeze myself through the small openings under the house or in the roof eves.
Lets just say foodwise wasn't exactly angelic shall we. Lots of drinks and nibbles with them, just to get rid of the dust you understand
. Coughing a spluttering despite the face mask. Oh well only the main roof section to go...... but not today..........need a break..........pleeeeeease.
Have a great day all. Lovely to have you back Cheerfulness and don't be gone long Frogga. Bye for now. Suz"It came to me that every time I lose a dog they take a piece of my heart with them. :rotfl: :rotfl: Watch out for THE OP though!!!!! :rotfl: :rotfl:
Hope you soon feel happier, but know what you meen about the constant struggle with wanting to eat but not wanting to or not fancying anything but wanting something nice. But if it was easy there wouldn't be a need for this thread and we wouldn't have got to know each other, and life would be so much duller without folks like you, Frogga and the gang.

Hi girls  and thank you for all the lovely welcome backs.
What a busy lot you all are with decorating etc. We decided to give it another couple of week before starting on ours. Procrastination is our middle name. Luckily we're both the same so we encourage each other on happily.
Have noted that I've gone back to some bad habits of the old days ... dividing things into 4 regardless of size rather than 8 and thinking that would do two days. What a waste of money and so greedy!
I've now remembered what the freezer is for and have begun putting my little 'treats' away for a rainy day.
Food today:
Fruit and fibre
Lunch is at SIL's so will have to see
Quiche and salad (if eaten light at lunch) or salad sandwich if not.
Away to get the laundry put away and flylady in my bedroom before going out to lunch.MAY GROCERY CHALLENGE £0/ £250
