Yesterday didn't go at all to plan.
Had pineapple and yog bfast, couldn't wait for lunch so had wholemeal roll and fromage frais, apple for lunch plus 3 gooey hm turkish sweets covered in sugar syrup brought in by boss. Got home around 3.30 so had coffee, roll with butter then peanuts, then half bar value chocolate. Dinner should have been lentils and pasta but it was too hot to cook, however DS 15 wanted quorn pies and roast pots, said I wouldn't cook so he offered. Couldn't turn that down, he made dinner with some help from big sis. We had pies, pots, peas, cauliflower and carrots-very nice. Finished with 2nd coffee of the day.
Today will have 2 hard boiled eggs for bfast, not sure about rest of day as have to take DS to hospital in London for 12.00 appntmnt no idea how long we will be or when we will get home. Will make porrige for him but I can't eat it, was forced as a child and it now makes me gag every time I try.WL 11 st 5lb as at 050109. 160209 11st 2lb

I thought Nix had ditched the toad for us
he must have sneaked back cos he visited me big style last night  cheese and oatcakes....then I couldn't sleep - too hot and OH snoring:mad: so I got up and had a cuppa and a slice of toast at 3am
I cooled off a bit when the rain came but haven't slept so got up at 5.30 and came for a swim. The whole of Manchester must have had the same idea as it was packed:rolleyes: so I'm cooler but tired and crabby today:rolleyes:
I've brought soaked oats, yoghurt and berries for brekkie but don't want it yet, loads of fruit with me but no lunch so I'll have to buy summat:mad:
Think I'll crawl into a corner and hide........
Back later when I'm in a better mood0 -
morning!
10past6 - am glad you're feeling a bit better! I think you need a more filling breakfast - porridge was a good idea or I find eggs(poached or scrambled or boiled)really keep me going with a slice of wholemeal toast - anything wholegrained is good as they are slow release so keep your sugar levels up, you could also try a sliced banana with your cereal.
Kazzaw - you're right that you need regular meals spread throughout the day. a friend of mine is very similar and sometimes only eats 1 meal a day yet is about 4 stone overweight whereas I eat about 4 times as much in a day as her but spread evenly and am virtually at my target. If your body feels starved it will hang on to every calorie as it doesn't know when you are going to feed it again! HTH;)
dumb luck - i dont eat the low fat jelly as its full of sweetners but do like a meringue with low fat squirty cream and fruit such as kiwi fruit, strawberries, grapes and raspberries.
Am off into town shortly for my regular cake and coffee session on a Tuesday morning.
Food plans today
B - 2 weetabix, skimmed milk, raisins and nuts and seeds mix
S - cake:o
L - jacket spud, cottage cheese and salad
D - not sure about this yet, will post later.
hope you all have a good day!Do what you love :happyhear0 -

That's funny :rotfl: Day one and already "things didn't go at all to plan" A girl after my own heartI'm in your gang matey cos I really stuffed!!
No excuses , think I was just bored and couldn't be bothered to make my proper lunch so I had crisps and choccy as it was quicker. Got irritated with myself so had a decent dinner of Jacket pot and salad (which was really yummy and much nicer than the carp!) but then picked later in the evening.
The weird thing is I DO feel thinner in my head at the mo so I feel quite possitive about things. Would really like to shift some more weight before my new job and then full steam ahead for Christmas
I know in reality I aint doin great but I'm a tryer
Right, need to walk the hounds and blow away the cobwebs. Slept in the tent in the garden with Tadpole 2 last night as Mr Frog had promised but then got stuck in Manchester so couln't get home  My back is killing me, I'm COVERED in bites, 3 of which are on my FACE  and I rekon I must have sweated off stones  Still, as Tadpole said " that was really fun" ( ) and then "can we do it again tonight?" Morning all
Its a scorcher allready....when i last looked -about 5mins ago it was 83... its now 84.5  and not even 10am:rolleyes:
Its great to see so many new folks joining in :T
food today:-as we can see im not one of those people who go long without eating :rotfl:- brekkie-30g meusli
- mid morn-jelly with cherries + blueberries
- lunch- 2 slices HM super seedy bread with salad and tuna/sweetcorn mayo
- mid afternoon - probably more jelly n fruit
- dinner- soft goats cheese with herbs, salad and steamed new potatoes
- supper -25g seed/fruit/nut mix
- and if i need anything else it will be fruit, yog or jelly
- I have cleaned the kitchen, polished n vaccumed this morning-so thats me about done for now :T .
We have to nip out when hubby gets back from work -with this bloomin weather we need more bottles of water -i have the medium fizzy one, its only 19c for a 1.5 litre bottle... mind im getting through at least 3-4 bottles a day. Its not too bad though as i have loads of empty bottles to take back and i get 25c on each bottle -so that load will buy this lot of water
Hubby has taken the details of sis and her medical team in to the Dr. this morning so hopefully it won't be long before i get a call to tell me if i need testing and which gene it is they need to check ...fingers crossed its not a genetic one... more for my niece than me.. she is only 17...
Rockie -hope your mood lightens soon.... can't believe the toad made it back..and found us again  ... perhaps if we all took it in turns and had him stay for 1 day each..we would be fine..there are soooooo many of us now we wouldn't see him very often. Or send him me and i will lock him in the basementmind if he made it back from overseas -perhaps not
Well done on the losses folks :T
right im gonna get off and have my mid morn snackyhave a great day everyone and keep at it -we are getting there :T

OATY CRISPS
makes 18
1.5 ww points each
86cals 3.59g fat
Preheat oven to 190/375/gas 5
lightly grease 2 baking shets- 175g rolled oats
- 75g light muscavado sugar
- 1 egg
- 4tbs sunflower oil
- 2tbs malt extract
- mix oats n sugar -break up any lumps
- add egg, oil and malt -mix well
- leave to soak for 15 mins
- using a tsp drop small heaps on the trays -well apart
- press down with a wet fork
- bake for 10-15 mins until golden
- leave to cool for 1 min then remove onto a cooling rack
add a bit of dried fruit
Im pondering how they would work if you added a mashed banana and just a spoon more oats to soak up the extra moisture-you would get a few more out of the mix too
