Hi Can I join in too?

The way i see it is the last few months have been really good with my coming to term with being in debt- it seems like it would be a great time for me to sort out the weight I've gained from comfort eating my way through my problem...

  • Hi all,

Was gonna post my plan for this week on the old thread last night, but my best mate's dad died, so I was rushing up to the hospital and stuff  . Has kinda screwed up my plan for today cos I've been comfort starving (I can't eat when I'm upset)

Anyway, I'll try to stick to this as much as I can:

    [strike]
    Mon:
    B: Fruit salad
    L: Ham salad pitta
    D: Jacket potato with beans
    [/strike]

None of that happened lol!! I've had 5 dried apricots, 4 water biscuits and far too much coffee

    Tues:
    B: Cereal bar
L: Ham & mustard salad sandwich on brown
D: Thai chicken curry (loads of veggies in it, from the freezer, I'm trying to clear it out)

    Weds: Yoga tonight
    B: Cereal bar
L: Skip (audit at work, see comments on comfort starving)
D: Chicken fajitas, wraps, salad, soured l/f yoghurt

    Thurs:
    B: Melon
    L: Ham, crackers, fruit
    D: Spicy sausage pasta

    Fri: Yoga tonight
    B: Melon
L: Casablanca couscous (poss some cooked chicken)
    D: TBC

Sat: Maybe swim today, see what the plans are
B: Don't get up soon enough on saturday's LOL
L: TBC, probably junk, I'll be with my mate, helping him with whatever
    D: as above

I have a big bag of dried apricots in my desk for snacks, and keep packets of melba toast in the car for days I'm out of the office. I'm kinda following WW, but without going to meetings so far. Also trying Yoga and Swimming, cos the spinal people say that will help my disc problems. Til I get fit enough to join a more aerobic class, this will suffice!!! :p

Will get some Aldi scales and work out how much I need to lose more exactly. I think the weight loss Olympics is a great idea, gives you an interim goal, stopping you getting disheartened. :j

Good luck everyone! I'll post back how I've done against my plan as much as I can.

    Luv,

    PGxx

Probably not strictly OS but what about sugar free jelly with fruit.

Also meringue nests with yogurt & fruit.

I also bake banana loaf, slice it & freeze then just take out 1 or 2 sices at a time to avoid temptation!

I often forget about Jelly- and I loved it when I was a kid... seeing as that was in the 80's it must be pretty old style LOL

    Thanks

    Hi PG

That looks interesting, however, as much as I'd like to try it I know the melon would not fill me, I'd be tempted to eat mid morning.

I do have Kellogg's corn flakes each morning, yet I'm still hungry mid morning, any suggestions folks?

One of my problems is going too long between meals & eating late at night
I have exactly the same problem, I work a shift pattern which includes morning / afternoons/ nights, therefore trying to get into a routine is a nightmare, I go far to long without meals, and eat late at night, part of that problem is my body clock, and suggestions would be most welcome

    Thanks ;)
