    Hi All :hello:

Hope you all had a good weekend :) I was naughty and had special EF rice with S&S sauce from the chinese Friday night :naughty::o Usually I would eat it all in one go, but this time I only ate half of it and had the other half on saturday. I went for a [strike]walk[/strike] toddle today with DS(22months) so hopefully that will make up for being naughty. My legs are killing me now though. :(

    Food today
    B 1 weetabix, 1 toast & OJ, L 3 crackers, sml bit of cheese & salad, D sausage & bean cass with rice & peas, S yop/fruit

    Food tomorrow
B rice crispies & OJ, L cous cous salad, D HM BNS soup, S yop/fruit

Take care everyone :) Welcome Newbies

    Nikki x

PS my Awesome In August target is to lose 3lbs which will bring me down to 11st. Fingers crossed :)

I thought I had been doing so well:o but my trousers are fitting a tad 'snug' today:( Probably my own fault, cuz I've been conncocting all amnner of meals from what's already in the house, plus trying various recipes from the Grocery challenge.

So my Friends [inc the new ones:wave:] is to be more vigilant! I wish I could be Awesome in August but in reality, I'm not commiting to a definate YEAR:D

Confession my aim is to lose 0.5-1lb per week, does that sound too low?

I don't think so at all! A small amount per week will IMO make you more likely to succeed. Plus, as it may take you a while to get to the weight you want to be, you're re-training your food thoughts and processes, IYKWIM?

Am I talking rubbish tonight? I just re-read that and it sounds like it, but I know what I mean, lol!! :rotfl:
If you have good thoughts, they'll shine out of your face like sunbeams & you'll always look lovely.

Hello Please can I join. I am fed up of being permanently hot and bothered. Need to lose at least three stone as I am 13.12 and 5ft 5 tall but I cannot recall ever being less than 13 stone (in adult life!). I have tried various diets etc and seem to thin if I sign up and buy he books etc it will all click into place!

I think the key for me is portion control and more exercise.

Walked to work and back (mile and a bit each way) and going for a swim later. DD is away on hols at grandparents so I have no excuse (but could probably think of a few if pushed).

Food -I had porridge with skimmed milk, prawn baguette, peach and tonight am having quiche, pots and salad.
Bought a kids star chart which i have put up (reduced to 49p) to encourage water drinking, exercise and keep an eye on what I am eating.

Not sure what I should aim for - feel pretty determined.

    thanks for reading

    Evening folks:hello:

Dashed home from work only to fnd out that OH isn't working:rolleyes: so he'll be under my feet all night!
We've had Cauldron sausage, garlic and herb potatoes (using a bit of the G&H butter I made yesterday with home grown broad beans:drool: and I've just blanched the rest and put them in the freezer.

I'll have some of my lime jelly and berries in a bit and maybe a little ice cream or yoghurt.......

    Kazzajr - I'm happy losing 0.5lb a week and ecstatic if I lose 1lb:j

Nice to see all the newbies and welcome back Toni :T

Well, yeh, but hey, you're in good company :D

Been thinking I really must buy some new clothes. I will be starting the new job on Sept 1st and I NEED to get some for then. I really can't go to my new job in my old blue fleecy can I? ;)

Have seen some bits in Littlewoods catalogue that are ok. Don't know what size to order either and I'm thinking that I should wait a little bit longer to see if I can get more lard off my ar5e before I go ahead and order. I'll kill myself if I order a size 18 and they dont fit. I dont feel much bigger than that but reality might say different:rolleyes: I know that at 14 st I can easily get into a size 14 M&S jeans. I think my brain must weigh a hell of alot :D

This thread looks like it will suit me recipes and lots of support but then I have no excuse not to do well now.
I meant to ask do you have a set day for weighing in?

Honestly a girl could get paranoid - as soon as I join a new thread is started!

As predicted today was damage limitation. Plus I had a look in the freezer and fridge earlier and I have so much stuff that is not good on SW (I'm not following it as such, just sort of sticking to the principles. I lose too much weight if I stick to it faithfully - having read that back I'm wondering if it would be a good idea to stick to it but add an extra B choice, more bread yummy!) so my proposal is to work through what I've got but sensibly and replace it with SW friendly things.

    So today I've had

Muller Corner yogurt (sorry but it was in the fridge, given to me, I don't buy them)
Posh bread and different cheeses with coleslaw for lunch (as predicted)
For tea I'm having a medium sized spicy chicken pizza from the freezer, very little cheese on it so it's not too bad.

Not great but not bad as I haven't been picking and snacking and I haven't been bloated all day which makes a change.

Tonight, instead of sitting on here all night I'm going to put on some records and cds and do some crochet and reading.
