Afternoon ladies. Am about to catch up with 4 pages as I havent been on for a couple of days. I hope everyone is okay.

I havent had the greatest of weeks but still managed to lose 1.5lbs which I am very happy about. Will try very hard to be 100% this week. Today was also my first day back to slimming world classes (not OS I know but I need the thought of a group to keep me on track if that makes sense).

Used the Wii fit for the first time last night and although everything wobbled and jiggled and I was out of breath and sweating I have to say I really enjoyed myself and shall be doing it again tonight (after I have been out for dinner as it is DH's birthday today but I already know what I am going to be eating so shall be very good).

    Have a good week everyone.

Its that time of the month for me so I've decided to make the most of my cravings for "junk" - I'm eating whatever I want, whenever I want and aiming to get all the junky stuff out the house. So far so good.:o:o:rotfl::rotfl:

    Hiya everyone,

    Welcome to all the newbies.

Great news on the weightloss to Mummygems & everyone else who has lost or STS.

Biglass, it's soooo easy to put weight back on but not so easy to lose; but if you did it last year you can do it again.

    Food today......

BREAKFAST - Porridge with SS milk & raisins, glass OJ.

LUNCH - 1 slice toast (no spread) with wee bit of tuna & light mayo, 1 pancake.

    SNACK - 2 clementines.

DINNER - Salmon fillet, new potatoes, cherry tomatoes (need used up), coleslaw.

    SNACK - Yoghurt.

Hi Tiddly and Biglass, welcome!! sounds like you've come to the right place, they're an awfully supportive lot around here ;)

i used to go to SW too, albeit several years ago (when i joined this thread i was exactly the same weight as i was when i joined SW - must be my 'panic weight'!), and still make some of the recipes. all day breakfast quiche, yummmmmm!

pretty good day for me so far, just have to steer clear of the wine and snacks at book group!

Right I have now been and had my blood pressure measured, and got on the scales while I was there. Just under 13 st 3... this is good, I'm okay with that, but as I weighed myself on my own scales beforehand I *know* they're wrong! Drat it, I wasn't going to get myself any new ones but I think I'll have to. It's not fair to try and lose weight when I'm getting an inaccurate result, otherwise how the heck will I know where I am? Opinions please, should I persevere with these ones or bite the bullet (spend money) and buy something accurate?

    Food-wise:
    Yesterday -
    B - milky coffee
L - home cooked ham cheese and tomato sandwich in bought pap white bread, a couple of chunks of mint aero
D - ham and coleslaw in a roll
    S - about 6 brazil nuts

    Today:
    B - milky coffee
L - 80g tuna, 5 king prawns in a marie rose sauce, lettuce, tomatoes and cucumber, buttered end crust of HM bread
    D - I don't know yet. I have to make Weezl's chicken liver paté though :)

Well done to the losers and STSs, commiserations to any who've gained, and (((hugs))) to those that need them.

My Awesome in August target is to break through the 13 stone barrier!

    Evening folks :hello:

I didn't make veggie chilli for tea as we had no kidney beans........in fact I had no beans  just a small tin of chickpeas which wasn't a lot of use really!
So we had sweetpotato and butterbean cakes (from the freezer) with garlic potatoes, broccolli and some homegrown cauliflower (I salvaged a tiny one from the lotty)
OH has gone swimming but at least he'd cleaned up and done a load of washing today which is an improvement  I'm having my little surf then I'll watch Holby.
Hopefully I'll just have my yoghurt and some fruit tonight, I am feeling a lot calmer and more inclined to slam the door if the toad comes calling:whistle:

Welcome all the newbies and returners

Where's MrsM today? Has she got lost on the golf course ;)

Tappy - step away from the apple pie :naughty:

OOOPS! Sorry Frogga for pinching your spot!
