    Morning ladies :hello:

First things first - Nicky a consolidation loan is not the way to go:naughty: Like a lot of the others - been there done that and ended up in serious debt......almost debt free now ( I will be by the end of the year if it's the last thing I do:rolleyes: ) but I've been 10 years doing it

Last night was a bit of a damp squib  productive it was not  the only decision was to wait to make a decision when he's heard if he's got this job  so he then took himself off for a sauna at the pool leaving me to .................eat ice cream and chocolate biscuits    I wasn't too bad and could have been a lot worse.

I've had oats and rice milk with dried fruit and almonds for brekkie, I have salad, avacado and hummus for lunch (I'm looking after myself :D ) loads of fruit and I'll try and go for a swim at lunchtime.
Not sure about tea, if it stays this cold and wet I might make a veggie chilli with rice.

Thank you all for the kind thoughts, I'll sort myself (and him) out one day

Frogga - did you slide onto the sofa after my OH left it? He was up until 3am watching the telly, probably re-runs of re-runs of the olympics :D

    morning everyone!

rockie - sorry you didn't get the result you wanted from your chat last night, hopefully it helps a little having a definite deadline for it though? and don't forget to treat yourself to a sauna while you're down the pool later ;)

i had a pretty good evening - enjoyed my kung fu class and did make the veg salad i'd planned. not sure i'd make it again but i did enjoy it. only problem was by the time i'd made it (after my train home from kung fu got cancelled) it was 9pm by the time i ate. up at 6 this morning for spin before work so don't think i really left it long enough before going to bed, oops! (is that really true, that you have to stay up for quite a while after eating your tea?).
anyway, weighed myself again this morning to check yesterday's shock result and i actually weigh a little less than yesterday (we have digital scales) so i'm going to stick to the 7lbs that i reported yesterday, wow! just hope i can keep it off this week.
    so, today:
b - handful of crunchy oat cereal before spin, then bran flakes, all bran and sultanas with skimmed milk when i got to work
l - left over courgette, cabbage and beetroot salad with a piece of smoked mackerel and a few oatcakes
    s - activia yoghurt, oatcake?
d - got my bookgroup tonight so will probably be pizza with dips. think i might take some ame/shloer instead of the usual 'bottle of wine each' and have something light to eat before i go, to stop me filling my face with pizza!

    have a good one everybody

    Morning.

Hope things work out for you rockie - I hate having "issues" with my OH, makes me very sad and grumpy (like now really :o) thankfully our issues always seem to "blow over" and sort themselves out after a while.

Didn't have a good day yesterday. Didn't sleep well.

Started well with oats soaked in water with banana, raisins and a few chopped strawberries.

Then had half a large fruit malt loaf, chicken roll, pack of crisps, twister bar. :o

Then had salmon and roasted veg for tea. And made low fat banana loaf and ate a chunk of that too

Here's hoping today will be a better day at work :o

Hiya.....not quite sure what's going on at the mo:o I feel constantly hungry but nowt appeals to tempt the tastebuds & I'm driving mesen barmy with the 'checking the fridge' game:mad: I KNOW it's only me who puts stuff in there; I KNOW no-one has put anything different in there in the past ten minutes since I last looked.....so WHY do I still have to open the bluddin door to see:confused:

I was really looking forward to last night's dinner; I'd made a basic bolognaise sauce on Sunday & frozen half, & decided to bash some chiili powder into the other half along with some kidney beans......Now the offspring thought it was ok in a good way, whereas I thought it was tasteless even tho almost half a pot of chilli went into it. Only redeeming feature for me, was it didn't get thrown out :undecided

    Morning everyone,

Just want to say a huge thanks to all the people that have given me advice i really appreciate it. I went over my finances with a fine tooth comb last night and may have found a way to come up with £150. It's not quite enough for the bill but payment date is not till end of month so have 2wks to find the rest. I would also have to put us on a very tight food budget of about £15 a wk (not even sure this would be poss as milk alone is a fiver a wk!) to keep us from going into our o/d.
My challenge now is to try and find another £100 in 2wks so i'm gonna have a scout about and see if i've got anything worth flogging. got plenty of old dvd's but doubt they would fetch much now but anythings better than nothing. I need to turn this negative in to a positive:D

    Thanks again everyone

Right back to loosing weight. Not had a good wk believe it or not. Couldn't face the scales this morn. Been eating well but being stressed has completely taken it out of me. I'll get there tho. Slowly but surely.

  • Hello
Do you have room for a 'not so little one' to join you?

I lost 3.5 stone with slimming world but last year put it back on when I had some rather nasty tablets to take. I would go back to slimming world but cant find a group now that fits in with my timetable. I know how to eat so Im just going to go it alone.
