Just been looking back at an old chart and the last time I weighed less than 15 stone was over 18 months ago and that was only for a couple of weeks before I crept up again.

I'm just 1/2 lb over 15 stone now so that is my next challenge, to get under the 15 stone barrier and stay there for good!

If I stop posting on here you all have permission to bombard me with PM's to get me back!!

    Well done Kazzaw, crackpot, M.E. and anyone I've missed :T :T :T .

Rockie I've been thinking about you all weekend and hope you will soon be much happier, whatever you decide. Hopefully this low will soon pass and just emphisise how much you meen to each other. If you fancy a whinge feel free to PM me. (((hugs))) Bet the hair looks gorgious!!

After being very miffed on Saturday about life, the universe and everything, especially DS2 (won't bore you with the details), yesterday turned out very well. DH dug up the rest of the potatoes, I cleaned the summerhouse, we had a great three dog walk and planned to economise on fuel bills by buying a TV for the bedroom  , saw a very reasonable one while wandering round the shops. Well I understand the logic even if no one else does :rotfl: :rotfl: . Actually our lounge is a cold room and I'm usually in there on my own as DH and DS are in the office on their computers every evening, so I thought how nice it would be to snuggle up under the duvet in the evening and watch the telly in bed. See there is some sence in my plan :D , isn't there????????

Frogga liked the lyrics, watch out Tim Rice!! :D

Sorry can't stand watching sports, hated doing them in school and only enjoyed playing tennis with my Grandpa. My sisters love watching anything sporty so I must have missed out on a gene somewhere  .

The rain seems to have stopped so I will head off up the hill behind us with a couple of large woofy things before lunch. Took 'junior' for a walk to DD's before breakie to check on the house as they're away, and for him to have a good sniff of Grandpups house (they still haven't met as I think he's too big and bouncy for the little one yet). DH was too stressed out this morning to take him to the park so I offered to walk him :A . DH so relieved, bless him, he's just been promoted and is buried under with work.

    Have a great day all,
    Suz

I really need to start this over again. I've put on about 7lbs again through not wanting to cook so eating take-away and junk and my portion sizes have increased again :o

Here's hoping I can make some changes that will stick ;)

    Hiya,

Congrats to all the losers and all who STS.

I didn't get a chance to post all weekend as DH has been off work and we've been out & about.

Weighed in on Friday and was chuffed to see I'd lost 2.75lbs. Then it was our wedding anniversary on Friday so we went out for a meal & drinks that evening, I had chicken with salad & a gorgeous chorizo mash...nomnomnom.

Then on saturday I wasn't too bad, but I made chicken tikka masala with boiled rice for dinner. We had a few drinks later and the box of Pringles started calling me from the cupboard as did the anniversary box of Milk Tray.

To top it off we took the kids to McDonalds on Sunday (it wasn't even nice), followed by McFlurries (hangs head in shame).

    Back on track today though......

BREAKFAST - Branflakes with semi-skimmed milk & raisins & glass of OJ.

LUNCH - 2 slices toast with spread and some soup.

DINNER - Roast chicken, mash, broccoli, mashed carrot & parsnip, stuffing & chicken gravy.

Keep up the good work folks :T :T :T

    hi all!

well done all the losers, can't believe some people have achieved the august targets already, wow!

i weighed in this morning and, according to the scales, i've lost 7lbs! however, i had a really heavy day/night out on saturday so didn't really eat anything for 24 hours and was seriously dehydrated - oops, not exactly healthy living. i really need to cut down on the booze if i want to lose weight! i'm going to weigh myself again tomorrow morning (my usual day is monday) for a more realistic weight, don't want to try really hard and 'gain' next week! will post back tomorrow

rockie - hope everything goes well for you tonight :)

    food for me - yesterday:
b - ahem, cheese and pickle roll!
l/d - vegan feast! hm dips, stuffed roasted squash, crumble, hm vegan truffles, yum yum! and rather more wine than i should have had

    today:
b - bran flakes, all bran, sultanas, skimmed milk
l - bagel w. peanut butter and some braised red cabbage
s - activia prune yoghurt and a banana after kung fu tonight
d - going to try a warm cabbage, beetroot and courgette salad i found on the bbc (we have lots of all of these in our box this week) - might add some poached cod or smoked mackerel

    have a good afternoon/evening everybody!

Oh dear, what a dreadful weekend of food I have eaten my way through :(

Friday night I had veggie stir fry with boiled rice which is fine but it all went wrong Saturday and Sunday.

Sat: Special K red berries with SS milk, fruit and a few triangles of chicken salad sandwiches and 2 cheese straws, beef lasagne with garlic bread and salad then a scone with jam and cream. Birthday cake later on.
Sun: Muesli soaked in apple juice with yoghurt, a choccy ice cream at Kew gardens, veggie curry with rice and half a naan and 2 poppadoms. Later on I had Malteasers.

When I write it all down it doesn't look quite so bad but I feel really grotty and upset with myself and I know I have put a good few pounds on. I will weigh on Saturday as usual but don't be surprised if there is an upward trend!

Today we were travelling so I had Special K with SS milk for breakfast then 2 cheese and Branston granary rolls and a bag of crisps. Going to have something light for tea to get myself back on track.

No swimming tonight but will try and get it together to go tomorrow instead.

Have a great week all, I will be on regularly for some motivation :)

Blimey Sarnie, are you really telling me you know me so well now , that if I've not posted for a couple of days there must be "damage" to tell you about? :o How right you are

I have not been bingeing but defo did over do it at the weekend. Had some choccy on sat night and then wasn't good at all yesterday. BUT......................... the difference this time is I shall dust myself off and start over again today. As long as I don't give up I'll get there. I've been good so far today and day 1 is always the hardest after you've had a break. I've just got to remember that what ever I did last week worked so I must keep on doing that ;)

Thinking of you tonight Rocks. brings back all sorts of horrid childhood memories when Mum and Dad had "Serious Talks" :( Hope things work out the way you want them to.

HOpe everyone else is ok, you all seem to be doing really well, Good Good xx
