Well done on the loss mummygems:T and beanie for STS:T , better than a gain!
Knew it'd be a struggle to keep the halo intact once I got back to work but managed it so far.... more down to the office bickie tin being empty than some amazing feat of willpower from me!! Forgot to take my sarnies in with me today which could have spelt disaster (that's when I discovered we had no bickies:o ) but got through the day chomping on the supply of fruit I stocked my drawer with on Monday.... 5 plums, 2 pears, apple, 2 'nanas grapes and a yoghurt. Poor old tum isn't used to that amount of fruit in one go....... needed stodge for tea after that little lot so tinned spaghetti on toast with a bit of cheese sprinkled on went down a treat, and thankfully calmed the rather worrying gurglings that were going on!!
Hope the poorly peeps are feeling better today!0 -
I'm not doing very well :embarasse my eating seems to have gone to pot a bit, not overeating, just eating the wrong things. I'm going away for the weekend so hopefully I'll be refreshed and be back on the wagon on Monday. And I'll have my shiny new Wii fit to help me as well :j and I'm still hoping to lose the 4lbs I wanted to lose this month.0

Well done to Mummygems on the 2lb loss:T and Happy Anniersary too!
Beanielou - STS is good - you could have put on and that would be worse...
Rockie, Mrs M and Rambler - I love cherries too - I can eat and eat them, but they tend to make me run to the loo if I overdo it with them. My very favourite fruit are greengages, but you only get them for about 2 weeks in August every year but when they are out I buy loads and loads of them because they are so nice.
I got through today without overeating, but I had a wobble at lunchtime when I made boiled eggs and DD2 didn't want hers so I ate it, which meant I had had 3 boiled eggs, which was more than I intended. I had them with some french bread, but I pulled all the doughy middle out and gave that to the dog and only ate the hard crusty outside. Afters was a Solero. Dinner was a small portion of hm chicken curry with boiled rice, a plum and a nectarine. Snacks have been a packet of Walkers french fries with a bit of light Philadelphis to dip, several cups of tea and two glasses of hm barley water.
I finished the painting in the dining room and had to put it all together, which included sorting out all the paperwork and carp in the drawers, putting the 150+ books back on the newly painted shelves, and doing a thorough clean of all the furniture. I got really hot and bothered as it was so humid and because ex-OH was here playing on the computer, DD2 and her friends were running around the house with my good throws on like cloaks with giant cuddly toys tied to their heads and I was in the middle of it all trying to hump furniture around with a broken wrist in a cast! I got in a really bad mood and started muttering about no-one helping and when that got no response I started to shout, which they all thought was funny (and they STILL didn't help!) - lets just hope I sweated off a lot of calories!
Hope you are all having a good evening.Jane

Well my eating plan when I'm being good isn't bad - I eat pretty sensibly - however when I feel like binging - I want to have food around that is calorie free but tastes good.
I make 5 yoghurt pots up each day and eat about 3-4 of them depending on how I'm feeling - it gives me that eating feeling without having to worry.
I eat tons of frozen fruite also with yoghurt - Tesco's black cherry yogout - only 100 kcals is pretty good.
So its any more snacks ideas and anything that'll help me when I feel like binging.
My sister gives me alot of advice - she's been on the slimmimg world plan - lost approx 10 stone and kept it off - so I do copy bits of her diet, but I'm always looking for improvements so I'll keep an eye out on here as to what others do.
Big Hugs

Morning Peeps,
If I get through today I'll have made it through a whole week without bingeing :j
AS the weeks go by it is defo easier to keep going. I am now in two minds about wether to weigh tomorrow or not. I would like to keep a check on what s going on and I had got used to the weekly WD. I think I might just pop on and see as Iuld rather know now if what I am doing is not working in order to ajust it early on. If Ihave not lost any I'll know I need to make some more changes.
Having a big sort out of the Tadpoles rooms today which I am not looking forward to. Tadpole 1 will be fine and enjoys a good sort out. Tadpole 2 finds it all very unsettlingHe'll be very anxious and no doubt put things back exactly the way they were once I've finished  I once picked up a toy and put it back on the wrong shelf and he noticed. There was then a public enquirey about it
Hoping all the hard work will burn off some cals too
Have had a prob with the bill from the Boiler Man for last week. I'm gonna post on another board for some advice as I really unsure as how to play it ~ Oh joy!
Have a good day guys xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxSay it once, say it loud ~ I'm an Atheist, Anti-Royalist, Socialist, Tea-Total Veggie Frog and PROUD!:D

Morning all.
procrastinator can you take a sarnie or something easy and eat it just as you leave work - do you drive/walk/bus? Or can you eat a bigger breakfast so you're not quite so hungry when you get home - then maybe eat a yoghurt or oatcakes or something to tie you over?
Have had a very bad couple of days so not been on here. In so much pain, and full of painkillers. No idea why. Have made a doctors apptmnt for tomorrow.
Today is an odd day will be driving for 5 or so hours after work so no idea on the food front. Will have eggs for bfast and take carrot and cucumber sticks. No bread in the house but I'm trying not to eat too much bread as it leaves me bloated.
Have a good day everyone.WL 11 st 5lb as at 050109. 160209 11st 2lb

morning all :hello:
frogga i have the exact same problem with moving stuff, except its my OH who is fussy. he constantly tells me i'm not logicalwhen i put stuff in the cupboard i put things i use a lot at the front, and stuff i rarely use at the back, if it has to be stuffed in higgledy piggedly in order to fit then so be it! OH however will make the cupboards beautifully neat and tidy but anytime i want anything i can almost guarantee it will be right at the blumming back so i have to get everything else out  how is that logical then?! men
mrsm i know how you feel with annoying neighbours. i'm having a very frustrating neighbour problem atm. we live in a ground floor flat and two blokes have recently moved in above us. we've never had any probs with neighbours before but they have a bay window type thing which overhangs our patio, every day they hang out and smoke out of it. every morning we get up and there is a line of ash along our patio where they flick their cigarettes  i caught one of them one day and asked politely that he get an ash tray- i don't want my 3 yo playing in ash! and in future could he not flick ash on my patio. everyday since still have a line of ash on the patio! then yesterday came home from shopping with friend and i was getting DS out the car, once again one of these men is smoking out the window. we got inside and my friend said he'd been flicking ash down then when he spotted me he got an ash tray   so he knows full well what hes doing! i'm so angry, especially having asked nicely. we're shared ownership but they are renting so i phoned the letting agent and ranted. then told them i would phone everyday that i found ash until their tenant stops doing it.how inconsiderate is it??!
anywho after that rant, food today:
b- special k
l- cheese and crackers, maybe some egg
d- chicken and noodles (an ainsley harriot meal kit i picked up cheap in asda!)
s- fruit or yoghurts

Morning ladies :hello:
Guess what! I didn't do the ironing  I got 'distracted' on tinternet and by the time I went downstairs it was time for Corrie and then I couldn't be bothered. So I look like a dog's dinner this morning! Pants that are too big :j and a top which is a wee bit tight:rolleyes: Dance class tonight so I won't have time to do it tonight either!
Brekkie today was boiled eggs and rye toast, lunch is salad and potatoes with the last of the hummus with fruit for snacks.
Tea will be decided when I get in, I'm having a disorganised week (can you tell??) House is like a midden, there's loads of food in the freezer but no meal plans doneand I've got tons to do in work but canna be bothered
Frogga - I can sympathyse with Tadpole 2 I'm a bit like that myself usually! I have to put the sofa cushions in a set order and straighten the throws before I leave home in the mornings then do it again when I get home cos OH has moved them
Saversarn - horses and teddies HAVE to be comfy or they'll get upset
Crockpot - not very OS but I'd chuck them, too tempting otherwise!
MrsM - we had neighbours who played music every night, I 'retaliated' by putting Classic FM on at 6am for a few days with the doors and windows open........it worked!0 -
Hi all
I've not been on here for a few days as I'm really busy but I've managed (just!!) to keep up with my new healthy choices regime. (Not on a diet you understand!!)
The battery ran out in my scales so couldn't weigh myself on Monday but I've renewed it this morning and I've lost over 2lbs!!! I've been weighing in kilos as it helps me psychologically if I don't know my weight in stones but I've converted the loss for the board.
B: Farmhouse Bran & Skimmed Milk
Lunch: HG Salad with tunaHM Lasagne
Snacks: Grapes, banana, yogurt
