Well done on the loss, Frogga! :T Reckon you'll be slimmer of the week this time, I know it won't be me..
And how do I know? Well it's TOTM for me and I've already been on the scalesa gain of 6lb over last week's loss. Pretty miserable about it, as I thought I was doing okay and haven't eaten badly in particular.
Anyway good luck everyone else weighing in today, hope you've all done better than me. (((hugs))) I'm off to edit my sig and feel sorry for myself..."...And if it don't feel good, what are you doing it for?" - Robbie Williams - 'Candy'0 -

Wow, well done Frogga and anyone else who has lost this week!
I am sticking to my food plan, and doing ok I reckon. I may even lose some weight this month if it carries on. Todays food is
B : small hot cross bun
L : egg mayo roll
D : Syn free lamb burger and salad.
snacks : fruit.
I am in serious danger of turning into a raspberry:rotfl: they are soooo yummy.
Take care all of you0 -
wow, well done Frogga that's fantastic! can you feel the difference in your clothes or anything?
alexelisey - as has been said above, try not to get to down about it. the really important thing is not to give up, it's really easy to slip into a binge when things like that happen but you'll feel loads better if you stick to the healthy eating
fairly good day for me yesterday apart form the pint of cider that i had after work, oops! we went for a drink to welcome some new people to our team. but went home and we had steamed fish with potatoes (no butter) and salad (oil free hm dressing) adn then fruit with yoghurt for pudding. and i had no wine, despite us having guests, becuase i felt so guilty about the cider!
aching a little bit this morning from body pump yesterday but had a good stretch, feeling ready to go again.
today:
b - the usual when i'm at work: bran flakes, all bran, sultanas and skimmed milk
l - bagel with some braised red cabbage the i found in the freezer
d - not sure, might have a cauldron bake with whatever arrived in our veggie box today
a quick question for you all - i've realised that, 5 days a week, i eat exactly the same thing for breakfast, do you think this is a bad thing? should i be making more effort to mix it up? i'm scared that my body knows exactly what's coming and so makes less effort to burn it up, or something (this is probably based more on paranoia than solid science!!)
thanks in advance and have a great day everyone
oh, nearly forgot, IT'S FRIDAY!!!!!!0 -
Morning all, well done for all your losses so far, you are all an inspiration. I was just wondering if I may join you(again) I am looking to lose about 5st longterm, but in flylady way I am going to take babysteps.
I have just weighed myself on wii fit and I am 14st1lbs.
I am currently on school holidays and would like to be very much into the next stone down by the time I go back too school in September.
The only problem will be I am flying to spain tommorow for a much needed holiday(with the inlaws, yikes) we will eat out everynight, so NO creamy sauces, and NO yummy icecreams, puddings for me. I will live on sangria for a weekLOL.
So for today the menu is:
B: Sugarfree Rasb jelly + very low fat plain yoghurt(I know it sounds yuck but it is lovely and I have got six packets to use up that ran out of date in July)
L: Boiled eggs, 1 slice of HM breadHM coq au vin with mash pots and loadsa Veg.
Does this look ok?
sorry to ramble on.

Well done everyone who's lost and STS :T :T :j , and big congrats Frogga on beating the binge, fantastic :A .
Well DH had a day off on Wednesday so we had a trip out and visited a couple of my favourite shops. Outdoor shops full of walking gear, heaven. The upshot is I bought walking shoes, trousers, fluffy top (all reduced), mittens like duvets, and DS a couple of long sleaved vests and a top. How sad is that, drooling over boots!!!!!I even gave into a rum and raisin locally made ice cream in Beddgellert. Gorgious.
On the home front, DS4 has been referred to the hospital by the doc as all the blood tests were normal but he certainly isn't. It's so worrying having a poorly chick. On the good side DS2 phoned last night and is coming home for the week :T . Poor DD is supposed to be going on holiday to Devon today but last night their pup had an exploding botty and was sick. When she phoned this morning he seemed brighter but then exploded again. So she was going to phone the vets for advice. Luckily they are going with her OH's family so they can still go and collect the keys even if DD & OH have to wait till tomorrow.
Love the bike Nix, DD's OH is into his bike, hence Grandpup is called Harley.:D
Marie, happy to bow to your venerable position as this threads most ancient one, long may you reign supreme. :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
Forgot to mention in my list of gadgets that I have my Grans old mincer. You have to clamp it to the table, but it does make smashing rissoles with left over meat. Yum.
Very humid again today but heres hoping we don't get as drowned as we did yesterday on our walk. Poor dogs had to batten down their ears it was so bad and they were filthy by the time we got home and had to be hosed down as if they weren't wet enough. (the new trousers were great, not waterproof ones, but didn't feel horrible and wet, and dried very fast, wonderful!)
Just seen the time  , no wonder I'm hungry, not had breakie yet. Have a great day folks. Suz"It came to me that every time I lose a dog they take a piece of my heart with them. Morning all,
Well done frogga for not having a binge. That's such a positive move for you. Small steps and you will beat the toadWell done on the weight loss too!
Feeling really tired this week and not sure why - except by the time I get home from work, cook, eat, clear up, make lunches, get next day's meals out of freezer, put washing on etc it seems to be about 9.30pm. So I don't really get to sit down in the evenign anymore. Not sure what's happened as I used to sit down before that
Anyway... need to go shopping in my lunchtime for a chicken to roast and other bits so need to stay awake...
As for the same breakfast question (sorry can't remember who) - I eat oats every morning but I change what fruit I have with it - mainly because I get boredIf you are worried, you could always have a sliced banana or something else with your breakfast to change it a bit?
food:
oats soaked in water with cherrries
lunch: potato salad with sweetcorn and tuna
tea: smoke salmon omelette (well frittata type thing anyway)
Snacks:
crisps
found some malt loaf in the fridge from earlier in the week
a pear (which I has been sat on my desk for over a week).working on clearing the clutterDo I want the stuff or the space?0
