Everyones got a "Remoska" and I feel very left out! I want one  I hate it when I can't join in! I'm gonna get one ~ what is it? :o
I don't have one either  I'm anti kitchen gadgets but the cost of fuel gets me thinking this would be a good investment.....but then the video on the lakeland website does not make the food look very appealing :undecided
Remoska or school uniforms tough choice froggie:p
Shall we make it trendy not to have one:cool:

Can we? That'd be good - coz there's no more work surfaces free in our kitchen and not much cupboard space either to fit any more gadgets in :o

Oh refuses to let me relegate his George Formby to the cupboard even though I don't use it as I hate cleaning it :rotfl:- and he doesn't cook now that I'm there :p And he's got a posh coffee/espresso/cappuccino machine thingy that I've never even seen him use

I did manage to win the slow cooker argument though so have one of those ;)

Cept if most of the non stick gone from the plates and you have to stand there for hours scrubbing the stuck bits of toasted bread off the stupid ridges

If you've got any suggestions to stop it sticking now the non-stick stuff is going - then I'm open to suggestions - especially since similar thing has happened to my breville toasted sarnie maker and the bread sticks like glue to that now even when marged on the outside :o

    Hi everyone,

I've really enjoyed reading about everyone.

I was in a really bad mood yesterday, vacuumed the whole house though. Then my back was sore AGAIN. I had my shopping delivered from Tesco, I asked for it to be packed in bags, when it came half was in bags and the rest was loose in the boxes which mean't loads of bending which was excercise, but with a sore back it wasn't enjoyable.

    Today.....

BREAKFAST: Porridge with semi-skimmed milk & raisins & glass OJ.

LUNCH: Egg & onion sandwich made with bit of light salad cream as DH prefers it to mayo.

DINNER: Grilled cocktail sausages (as they're in freezer), mash, cabbage, carrots & gravy.

Later I'll have an Activia yoghurt and a mandarin orange or a piece of toast if I'm hungry.

Keep up the good work everyone :T :T

Nice to see someone else with a gadget mad OH and a cupboard full of stuff they don't use :D

I relegated his smoothie maker (used 3 times) to the cupboard at weekend and moved his slow cooker (used twice) I do use the egg boiler he bought but he want's to buy a deep fat fryer at the weekend    so that he can try his homegrown spuds as 'proper' chips!! I've told him there's NO WAY am I going to clean it!! :naughty:

Frogga- I've not got a Remoska either :o

I went to the lotty this afternoon and shifted 5 binbags full of soaking wet weeds:eek:to the tip, They were so heavy I had to lug them one at a time to the car, luckily they didn't leak on the way to the tip but I was so muddy I came home, stripped off in the kitchen :o and chucked everything in the washer!

We've had courgette frittata and SW chips for tea, very tasty it was too :D I'll have a soya yoghurt and some cherries in a bit while I watch Corrie.
Back to work tomorrow :rolleyes2 so I'll get up early and go for a swim before work I think.
