  • morning all :hello:

i've decided the key to my weight loss must be exercise. the two weeks when i actually did my pilates video at least 3 times :o i lost 3.5lbs each week and i've never lost more than 2 otherwise!! thats got to be it hasnt it?
so i intend to start today and ensure i do it at least another 2 times and hopefully the results should show at WI.

speaking of kitchen gadgets, has anyone seen the fancy new toaster/egg thing lakeland are selling? it boils up to four eggs (i think) to soft medium or hard and get your toast ready at the same time! or you can poach one egg in it. clever eh?! I WANT I WANT I WANT :p

    i've got:
george foreman - use a lot
sandwich toaster - never use as i use the gf but it was a hand me down anyway
    yoghurt maker - occasionally use
    smoothie maker - occasionally use
mandolin slicer - always use for onions
pineapple corer/slicer thingy - occasionally use
large flat grill/hot plate thingy - OH uses lots for bacon/eggs

thats about my lot i think. have to go out and splash some cash on a new hairdrier today, OH somehow managed to make mine (literally) go bang whilst drying his trousers :rotfl:

    have a good one :A

*passes lemsip and tissues to Taplady* Have a nice rest today and you'll feel much better tomorrow I'm sure

RS - I always think I could do with more energy! I'm usually running on adrenaline and caffeine due to being cross with my idle OH

*note to self, learn to say NO*

Been for my swim this morning and am now sat here in a nice quiet office 'cos the boss is off for 2 weeks..........probably famous last words!

Not had my brekkie yet, I had a banana before I left home and have brought soaked oats, soya yoghurt and raisins which I'll have in a bit.

Lunch is carrot and corriander soup and fruit, I might nip out and get a roll to go with it.
Tea is what ever I fancy as OH is working until late so I can please myself but it will involve lots of veggies:D

I'm not listing my gadgets but I do have a full set of 'Club' pans don't know if anyone remembers them ;) I've had them over 25 years, they're still like new and you cook on the lowest heat you can, you can cook allsorts even pastry on the hob, quite honestly the best investment I've ever made :D

  • Good Morning
Was bad yesterday. First I had a bowl of olives and then half pack of peanuts before dinner. Later on I remembered I had a carton of cream in the freezer and wanted it but could wait for it it thaw, also had read you can't freeze cream so I wanted to see what if anything had happened to it. Got it out and ate it frozen. WHY? It had no taste at all but I had to finish and did so at 1pm.

    Today
Bfast mandarins and yog. Toast and mlade
Lunch -This is a problem for me, I work part time so am home between 2 and 4. This leaves no time to have lunch at work but too late for lunch at home as dinner is between 5 and 7 for the whole family. I usually just take apple and banana in with me, which is ok but by the time I get home I'm really hungry and start to pick before dinner. Do any others have this problem and what do you do?
Dinner Jacket pots cottage cheese and salad.
    Have a good day everyone.

Hi all and welcome to the newbies,

Well I was by no means saintly yesterday, I am having a bit of a wobble at the moment that involved 2 slices of HM buttered granary bread and a stale blueberry muffin broken up and covered with custard. I think because I am sleeping late and skipping breakfast, I pick up the first thing I see which is usually something I baked the day before for OH.

I am off shopping to buy some cereal and fruit as we are low at the moment and that usually means trouble for me.

    B: 2 toast with marmalade
    L: Soup
D: Cauliflower dal and brown rice

No snacks except maybe a skinny cappuccino later if I fancy it

I was going to go swimming but its a nightmare with all the kids off, seems all the usual swims have been shortened in favour of kids clubs and lessons

    Morning all.

I've not got a breadmaker either by the way - or a stick blender (but I do want one of those) ;)

    Anyways, food today:
Breakfast: oats, water, raisins, syrup :o and a nana
Snacks: erm um well the nanas were going brown so I made nana flapjack but that's fruit coz of the nanas and the raisins isn't it? :o
    Lunch: Chicken roll
Tea: dunno, can't be bothered to think today - maybe salmon, maybe chicken and lentil curry - depends what mood I'm in for cooking :D

procrastinator can you take a sarnie or something easy and eat it just as you leave work - do you drive/walk/bus? Or can you eat a bigger breakfast so you're not quite so hungry when you get home - then maybe eat a yoghurt or oatcakes or something to tie you over?

frogga - is it a good book then? ;)
working on clearing the clutterDo I want the stuff or the space?
