Morning all, had a glorious lie in today on my first day off from work, hooray!
I was going to go swimming today but I have a really bad pain in my shoulder that stops me looking over my shoulder properly when driving so I don't want to aggravate it. I will go tomorrow instead thats for sure :)

I suppose I'd better just delve straight into lunch seeing as I slept the morning away, no idea what I will have though.

    B: Nothing
L: Maybe some pasta pesto or a baked spud
D: Quorn mince and taters with cabbage, cauli and green beans

Probably try and avoid snacks today as I ate pudding yesterday

Have a great day all :)

Happy Anniversary MrsM and a belated one to Frogga too.

I have had a terrible weekend, we were either out or had people round so the food was naughty. Its hard trying to re-educate myself with the slimming world plan but I know I can do it.

About me, I am 29 years old, married to DH for nearly 3 years (this wednesday) and have 2DD's, DD1 is 2 years old and DD2 is 15 weeks old. I have always had issues with my weight from not eating as a teenager to binge-eating as an adult. I am a huge comfort/bored eater which I am trying to control. I also find TOTM a very difficult time and just want to eat lots of bad things (mainly choc or savoury things). I lost nearly all my pregnancy weight a week after DD2 was born only to have nearly gained it all back again in just 3 months. I am going to be 30 in March and would like to lose around 4stone between now and then.

    My food today is/will be:-
    B - 2 weetabix with s/s milk and a banana
    S - 2 nectarines
L - 2 jacket potatoes with cheese, carrots, lettuce and cucumber
    S - yoghurt and 4 plums
D - Beans on toast (HM bread)
    S - Cherries and satsuma.

My first weigh in will be Wednesday morning *gulp*
    2 adults and 3 children DD (14), DD (12) & DS (10) :smileyhea and 2 mental beagles.

  • Hello everyone and Happy Anniversary to Mr and Mrs M! - hope you have a lovely day and a great year to come!

I have so enjoyed reading about everyone.

Has anyone heard anything from Superspam or Purpleivy - they seem to have disappeared!

Anyway this morning I got DD2 off to the tennis club for the day and went to Mr T's for a bit of bargain hunting - didn't get too much - but then I had done a big shop in Asda at the weekend. Day 4 of Frogga andMy No bingeing plan and all is going quite well. This morning my legs definitely felt less heavy when I was walking - might be to do with the barley water....

I had a late breakfast of porridge made with sweetner and now find that I am not at all hungry for lunch, but I had better have something because otherwise I will probably find myself starving at around 4pm before the tea is ready. I am planning on making roast chicken with mashed potatoes and veg for tea.

Have you ordered your Remoska Mrs M? I am sooooo tempted to get one but I am afraid that I just cant see how it would cook the bottom of the food properly, but my oven is on pretty much every night for ages (DD1 and boyfriend are addicted to oven chips and pizza:confused: )and it uses so much electricity that I need an alternative. Crockpot mentioned doing jacket potatoes in the Remoska - are they crispy? because I hate microwaved jackets!

Hope you are all having a good day!

    Hope youare all
    Jane

Rockie -has OH ventured into the world of porridge yet? :rotfl:

:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: of course not!!!!:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: He's well and truly off the HE wagon, eating allsorts of rubbish and chocolate as well as the meals I cook him and he's back on 20 fags a day:rolleyes: the patches are consigned to the back of the cupboard! Sometimes I wonder why I bother

    Enough of him!

Day off today, I'm trying to use up my hols by taking long weekends but this one has consisted of housework, cooking and digging at the allotment so not exactly the relaxation I planned

Brekkie was porridge with raisins and almonds - I offered some to OH but he prefere his Shreddies:rolleyes:
Lunch was poached eggs on toasted rye bread and I've no idea what tea will be until I examine the freezer/fridge, I do know it will be with potatoes as the house is full of them, about 25lbs I think:eek: and there's only 2 of us

I'm off to the lotty now, the rain arrived yesterday and we had to leave the bags of weeds so I'm going to shift them to the tip.

Have a lovely picnic MrsM ;)

Hope the cold gets better soon Tappy!

Aww.... you're making me blush!:happylove Truth of the matter is....I enjoy talking with People. Someone on here used to--may still--have a saying along the lines of "I don't always have to agree with you, but I defend your right to voice your own opinion" & I've learned many things by listening to others. I'm hoping the weight-loss tips will work just as well :p

Congratulations to The Mcs ...August is a popular month for Nuptuals...my own was mid-March & I have a couple of photos that look as if the groom is wearing the veil:D And NO Frogga---that's NOT the reason we parted :p even if he is more of an old woman than I'll EVER be :rotfl:
