    Morning Peeps :hello:

How lovely to hear all your stories, thanks everyone. Anyone who didn't feel like they wanted everyone to know their business, we understand ;) But if anyone else wants to bare all please do :T No ones really knows who you are :D

I'm still feeling very possitive and am reading a new book which has made sense. It's called the 10 Commandments of Loosing Weight by Arlene Normand. At the mo something has clicked, just hope it stays that way. It's worth a look if you can get hold of a copy, got mine from the library ;)

Right, now off to get me breakfast and then walk the hounds.

Later today I am taking the Tadpoles into town to get their school uniform. I need to get everything for Tadpole 2 as he has changed schools but I thought I would get away with not having to get anything for Tadpole 1 as she is in year 8. No such luck! She has grown! I think it's discusting and have told her to stop it at once as it's gonna cost me a fortune  Everything has grown ~ arms, legs and feet!!! Bang out of order IMO.

Have a good one guys, oh and RS and I are now up to 3 days with no bingeing ( and at the end of today it will be 4!) :D

Ooooooo hi MrsM ~ Happy Anniversary xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Have a good day both of you xxxxxxxxxxx

  • Hi all, I'm sorry I've not posted for a while. I seem to go and come back, posting how bad I have been, then go for ages again

ANYWAY, well done to all the losers and sts'ers. My weigh in day has changed to Sundays atm as me and DH have a little bet on who can lose the most weight in one week. Rules: must eat 3 proper meals a day. I saw my DH in a different light on Saturday, he was walking towards the car (I was inside) and I really noticed how much weight he has gained. I've been heavier than him for a little while now (he's 2-3 inches taller than me and, well, a man obviously:p so bigger and broader than me) but then we evened out, and now I weigh less :T (only by 2 lbs -but 2lbs is 2lbs ;) ) People seem to be very open telling DH how much weight he has gained and we've always shrugged it off but lately the comments have been coming thick and fast, and we have a friends wedding in a month so we need to help each other along.

    Enough rambling, food today:
b-hot lemon tea & banana smoothie
    l-not sure yet
    d-salmon, veg & pots

    Hi All,

I had a lovely time in London with my daughter but am now back on the straight and narrow. I am hoping August will be my best month yet. Although we went out for several meals I didn't have any puddings and didn't snack between meals so shouldn't have done too much damage. We also did lots of walking. My daughter is beautifully slim, gets loads of exercise and eats really healthily so was a really good example.

Just to add to everyone's descriptions. I was 50 in May, weigh 10st 9lbs and am only 5ft 1in tall. I was always very slim as a child and got married in a size 6 wedding dress but over the past 10 years the weight has slowly crept on. I split up with my OH of 25 years a couple of years ago, though we are still friends, and have a DD(23) and a DS(22). I now have a new OH who is 10 years older than me who tends to spoil me with chocolate and meals out. I have had a complete career change since I met him and am now a freelance writer, which means we can spend half the year living in Spain to avoid the English winters. My DS is getting married in November and I really want to be slim for the photos - preferably around 9 and a half stone.

B: Just Right with skimmed milk
L: Boiled egg with wholemeal toast. Orange
D: Lamb steaks, new potatoes, green beans. HM yoghurt with raspberries.

  • Hi
I'm 50 in Sept and want to wear something nice. I'm 5'1" and 11 stone 5 so a 1LB loss for me this week.
I was underweight until I had my DD at 32 and have been adding the pounds ever since. I wear a size 16/18 and being so short nothing fits properly even when buying from the petite ranges. Next April is my 30th wedding aniversary. I think I should have a medal for tenacity or be shot for stupidity it's been a bumby ride.

Yesterday went visiting parents. Toast and mlade for Bfast. MIL is sick so just stayed a couple of hours. Mum made us spag bol for lunch with quorn and loads of veg. I brought strawbs and cream for pud. Had chese salad sarnies for tea. When we got home had snack of peanuts then grapes.
Today Bfast grilled mushrooms stuffed with lowfat cream cheese and garlic.
    Lunch fruit
Dinner Salad with beans and cottage cheese.
    WL 11 st 5lb as at 050109. 160209 11st 2lb
    11st 5lb as at 20.04.09 11st 7lbs 040509 11st6 010609 I wish 2016 175 lbs.

    Debt-free and Proud!
    Morning all,

Well after a fantastic wedding weekend  Im now going back on the straight and narrow!!!( for a week anyway as we're off on our hols next week....yay)

Just a bit about me I'm 36 and married for 16 years we have a DD 14 and a DS 12. I'm 5'8 and 10st 13lb have had a bit of an up and down time with food over the years but have lost 2st over the last 2 years but recently put some back on. Anyway am really motivated to get down to 10 st again and keep it off for good this time by eating sensibly and making sure my life style is much healthier than before :D

So enough waffle!! Today my plan is:

    Breakfast: 2 x w/m toast & marmite

    Lunch: h/m veg soup & h/m roll

Dinner: 2 veg sausages, new pots & loads of garden veg

    Snacks: Fruit

And loads and loads of water to flush out all the weekends excesses ;)

Have a great day everyone :D

    Morning all.

I'm 35 married with two step kids who stay roughly half the week. I joined here after my first wedding anniversary where I got depressed while shopping for nice clothes (and undies) and realised how much weight I'd put on and that some size 16's weren't fitting that well :(

Since then I've got back down to a size 12 (ish - depending on the cut) :D

I've been 2 stone lighter than now (which wasn't good - some food and weighing obsessions involved). I've also been 2 stone heavier - when I joined this thread. So now I'm mostly trying to maintain - as soon as I get the few pounds that crept on back off again ;)

I have actually lost 2lb this week (but not in a good way and I don't recommend it ) - hopefully it will stay off now that I'm eating properly again.

PS: Happy anniversary to frogga (bit late I know, sorry) and happy anniversary MrsM
