  • Popping in quickly to say I'm up to day 3 of my fresh start and things are going surprisingly well up to now:D . I'm still not feeling brave enough to have my weigh in tomorrow, thought I'd have a week or so of being good first and clamber back on the scales next Monday..... with a bit of luck a good week might cancel out a fortnight of piggyness, fingers crossed anyhow!

    Food today...

    B - porridge
L - more veg soup, 1 piece wholemeal
D - baked spud with beans and a small sprinkle of cheese(doing an extra spuddie while the oven's on so that's tomorrow's tea organised). stewed apple for pud

Best of luck for this week everyone!

    Hi all,

Had a busy day today baking lots of fairy cakes and cupcakes to take into work and celebrate the birth of my niece on yesterday.

I had a lovely portion of trifle yesterday and didn't finish it which was the first time in a while that I have stopped when full of pudding instead of feeling ill after stuffing the last morsel in :)

B/L: Mozarella and vine tomato ciabatta with green pesto dressing.

D: Roast chicken with sprouts, carrots, sweet potato mash, stuffing and peas.

Going to have a cupcake with a cuppa in a mo as they wouldn't all fit in the box ;)

Well done all the losers and stick with it

    Day off today:j

    B - soaked muesli with extra fruit(1)

    S - banana

    L - spaghetti on toast 2 clementines(1)

D - lentil veggie moussaka(2) with SW chips

snacks - will try and get some more fruit in such as grapes.

    have a great day all!

  • morning everyone

i've been toying with the idea of trying twink's hobnobs recently but sounds like i should avoid it!

bad/good weekend for me - up at my parents and i had such a lovely, relaxing time, best weekend i've had in ages. and very OS, loads of cooking from scratch and walks in the countryside! however, not so good for my bottom, i've eaten so much!

WI this morning and i haven't lost any thing, so the weekend obviously cancelled out all the good i did during the week. however, it was totally worth it for the time with my folks chilling out, just wish it wasn't so close to christmas so i had more time to correct it!

so a big push for me this week, back to the gym etc
    tpoday:
    b - toast w. veg pate
    s - apple
l - 3 bean salad with sardines in tomato sauce and a tomato
    s - apple, oatcake
s - a couple of oatcakes after the gym
t - don't know, maybe a stir fry, have half a sachet of sauce to use up

good luck everyone and welcome back to the returners :)
  • ps - have decided to give up smoking.

not a great move as far as weight loss goes i don't imagine, but it's high time. eeeeek!
  • Hi all. Well I dont know how I have done it but it looks like I have lost 10.8 lbs over the week. The scales max out at 440 lbs so I have to take that as my weight last week. Now I get a reading.

Had a mare of a weekend that involved pizza, chocolate and flapjack. Hopefully I am back on track now.
    • Titanic bran flakes and sliced banana (Titanic = milk so cold its part liquid part iceberg!)
    • Tangerine
    • Golden Veg savoury rice

    • Will try and do the Will step class that I missed last week
    Have a good day everyone.
