For no apparent reason the a**e fell out of my desire to lose weight last week...had been doing ok, not losing anything but no being stupid...have devoured so much carp over the last week that I will be half afraid to get on scales for weigh in to-morrow....messed up my meds by accident on one occasion and that seems to be what triggered the 'I'll never lose weight, might as well eat what I want' mood, haven't been too bad to-day so will hopefully start all over again to-morrow.

    Good luck to all

  • Well yesterday went so completely pear shaped in the end, no I didnt eat the pear, that I might as well have torn up the plan and eaten that instead!
Today has already started at 3.30am when I took my mother to the airport (I hate her  ) so dont know how that will affect my day. Went to Tesco on the way home and picked up some fruit and other bits and bobs.
    • Porridge (already eaten it)
    • Back to Bed No bed so had Banana and Tangerine
    • Poached egg on toast Bad friend  came round with bacon and sausage. Grilled the bacon, fri-lited the sausage but its still not poached egg
    • Banana, tangerine Somehow turned into 2 pieces of toast
    • Swedish meatballs, veg, boiled pots Morphed into chicken and veg pie and oven chips
    • Flapjack  2 pieces
At least I played 3 1/2 rounds of Tiger Woods golf on the Wii to work up a bit of a sweat, though I did take out a lightbulb in the living room with my golf swing

    And back to today.
    • Bran Flakes and mixed dried fruit
    • Banana and tangerine
    • Poached egg on toast
    • Banana and Tangerine
    • Swedish Meatballs, veg, boiled tattys
    • Bovril
Some Wii based exercise somewhere in the day. Its too damn windy for my outdoor walk today. My coat would turn into a kite and I'll end up in Finland!

    Have a good day all.

Morning, did 2 mile walk yesterday after all and was soooooo tired yesterday evening - but slept well. 10 miles walking since Monday.

Not too bad then tappy, you'll be back to target in no time - I've got 1 3/4 lbs left to get back to target but wouldn't mind losing 2lb extra as a "buffer zone" ;)

I agree with taplady about your food kiwi. If you don't really enjoy your food then you won't feel satisfied. Feeling deprived of nice food always makes dieting impossible for me. Can you find some food you love but can eat as a treat in with your diet plan?

Mine is smoked salmon in olive ciabatta rolls, or anything with cherries. Still quite healthy but it feels indulgent (probably coz I don't eat it much coz of the price). Everyone needs to have a treat sometimes and it can be healthy treats too, if you think hard.

    Anyway, food today:

    oats nana and syrup
leek and tatty soup and a roll
    fish pie

and I've just been paid so will be off to purchase some non-chocolate "treats" too:-
kippers with butter, smoked haddock, smoked salmon and olive ciabatta rolls, and crumpets!! :D

and maybe some chocolates as we've been invited round for tea on Saturday and I hate to turn up empty handed :o

    Hi all,

Everything is running smoothly, not tempted at all but I guess it depends how late I am in work and what happens tonight as OH and I are both in until at least 7pm and haven't made anything for dinner in advance
There is always pasta sauce and mash in the freezer so I am sure we can cobble something together.

B: Porridge with water and skimmed milk

    L: HM lentil soup

D: Maybe all the p's (Pasta, peas, pesto, parmesan) or spag bol, something easy like that

S: Small skinny latte and whatever fruit I have left over

Have a great day all X

Weighed in this morning and am back up to 14st 2 lbs...Jeez...am I ever going to get below that b***dy 14 stones....I used to think that people as heavy as me spent their time eating and sleeping:mad::mad:

Had small serving of Fruit and fibre for breakfast and then frittata made by OH with one slice toast and coffee, dinner is steak, mushrooms and spinach, need to get some fruit in too as I seem to have been falling down badly on my 5 a day.

    Congratulations to losers and STSers
