    Hi all,

Another crappy day yesterday, I have alot going on and was stress eating. I dont seem to be staying full either so I have decided to reduce the amount of bread I am eating and go back to basic carbs like porridge for breakfast and lentils for lunch.

B: Porridge made with semi skimmed and water, 1 tsp honey

    L: Lentil soup

D: Not sure yet, OH in charge but its always something HM, nutritious and tasty

    S: Banana, apple and yoghurt

I bought some clementines from Tesco to snack on but they are absolutely foul, the insdie is really leathery and there is no juice at all :(

    Mornin' :santa2:

    Well 6 weeks to go - YAY!!:j

WI today and STS this week. I'm OK with that as I have had the munchies, I'll be better when all my results are in. (or maybe not?!)

Well done to losers and STS and keep going any gainers.

I have joined a gym (with family) and I have my induction tomorrow. To be honest I'm not looking forward to it, I'm not a 'gym' person really. It's a brand new gym and has some really impressive stuff. I'll have a go at a few things to start with. Our community leisure centre has been doing some great deals to launch the new gym so as a family leisure centre full membership it's very cheap. I'll also be playing badminton with DS on Sunday. The pool is closed for 6 months while it's being upgraded :( I really enjoy swimming.

I can't start my programme until my test results are all in next week, although my BP was OK this week.

I'm going to have a go at organising this weeks meals and shopping accordingly.

    B - cereal
    L - tuna/sweetcorn salad
D - hm fishcake and HM chips (with the actifry)

    snacks - dried prunes,fruit.

    thumbs down showing - wasn't me :)

So far have just had 1 weetabix and banana, couple square inches of steak that OH left over yesterday, was delicious and felt decadent just eating it out of my hand, also had glass orange juice, just about to have a pear.

Seem to be eating strangely at present, think that I need to 'graze' a bit more and ignore OH when he has his huge breakfast at midday, just stick to my fruit, soup and veg between breakfast and dinner, not good at going long time without food so planning to have lots of 'good' snacks to keep the metabolism working.

Well done to losers and STSers, weigh in to-morrow could be interesting

    hi everybody!

lost control on the snacks a bit at bookgroup last night but hoping it won't affect me too much. not going to the gym today and tomorrow as i had jabs in both arms yesterday so they're sore - would like to be able to get out on my bike at the weekend though.
    today:
    b - porridge
    s - clementine
l - pasta, lentil and veg stew
s - apple, clementine, maybe a few oatcakes w. veggie pate
t - got a piece of smoked cod to use up so making risotto, my first time, eek!

going to the supermarket tonight but a bit worried as i don't have a meal plan yet. however, if i don't do it now i probably won't get to go for days, by which time i'll have nothing to eat so figure what i lose out on in planning, at least i'll save by not having to buy lunch/shop in tesco express!

    have a good day everyone

    Hi all,

Well done on the loss taplady.

I weighed today and the full damage is 3.75 lbs too heavy :p

Oh well. More walking to be done then I guess :o Still struggling to avoid the biscuits and chocolates too :o

    Today's food:
Breakfast: soaked oats with syrup and nana
Lunch: soup and a roll (think it's HM butternut soup but not sure which I grabbed from the freezer).
Tea: Turkey and split pea curry.
working on clearing the clutterDo I want the stuff or the space?
  • congratulations on your graduation Jay! what an exciting day that must have been, you're absolutely right not to diet!

good day so far for me, hoping to keep on track
b - fruit and fibre (haven't had it in ages, it's sooooo good! don't think i quite stuck to 30g, my scales aren't accurate enough for that type of thing!)
    s - clementine, apple
l - left over smoked fish risotto w. 3/4 boiled egg (will stink the office out, oops)
s - plum, options hot choc
t - not sure, having a night in so might cook a chilli or something if there's space in the freezer for the rest of it
s - prob some more fruit *whispers* and some chocolate

anyone have any ideas what i can do with the final left over portion of risotto - i dont have a microwave at home and doubt it reheats that well ina pan? could i make some sort of 'fishcakes' or something do you think? it's very firm when it's cold so could probalby roll into balls or somehting?

    have a good one everybody
