Thanks for the welcome, folks - slight panic this afternoon when found there was no tuna in the storecupboard  ! Remembered frozen tuna in deep freeze (says "cook from frozen" on pack - phew!!)
Have decided I can allow myself a small glass of white wine with dinner - so will make this into a spritzer with sparkling mineral water.
It'll be easier tomorrow (Monday is my day off) as I shall be at work and away from temptation!Obedient women are never remembered in History!

Hi all,
just deciding to pop back on here for a looksy - having maintained since Feb - seem to be going mad for biscuits and chocolate
Only put on 2lbs but....still eating too much junk
Today has been:
oats soaked in water with (too much) syrup and a chopped nana.
lunch was hm ham and pea soup with 2 slices of (white) bread.
tea is kippers and veg
Snacks have been.... crisps, choc biscuit bar, mini twix bar, sweets
See my problem
It's not like I'm not happy, not really that I'm hungry, I love being a size 12 again and have been buying some really lovely "new" clothes from ebay and charity shops and getting compliments.
Don't really need to lose any more, but really don't want to put it all on again (see sig to see how much there was).
So what's wrong with me?????!!!!! Helpworking on clearing the clutterDo I want the stuff or the space?0 -
Well done shelbell:T and bigsmoke:T !!
STS for me this week. Little bit disappointed with that but thinking about it, I did do an awful lot of sitting around over the weekend which isn't going to burn off anything, and it's better than gaining like the past 2 weeks!
Same problem here newlywed.... I reached my target a few weeks back and almost immediately started snacking for Britain with a 2.5lb gain in 2 weeks to show for it! Seem to have got a grip again for now, hope you manage to too.... we're not going to let all that hard work go to waste are we!!;)
Good luck this week peeps!0 -
Hi all, some great losses here! Well done shelbell and bigsmoke, sts is ok droopy, at least you're not going backwards!
I'm still doing OK, clothes feel looser so hopefully lost something. Thanks taplady, though I'm not so virtuous, because eating veg is fairly easy due to the type of meals we eat, like bean casserole today, which has bean mix plus 6-8 other types of veg , plus I love salad. I'm not keen on fruit though, just berries (frozen are cheapish), raisins, and bananas.
Food today:
B: Museli (1)
L: prawn salad (2)
D:Bean casserole (4) and cous-cous
S: Banana (1)
have a good evening everyone,
jay xxAnytime;)0 -
shelbell and bigsmoke: :T
Doesn't that just make you feel great!??
Menolly: good luck!
You're doing well on the first day, now keep it up and stay motivated!

Morning all!
off to work later for a long shift with 2 meals there.Am going to take some food as its cauliflower cheese on the menu and I've had that the last 2 nights at home.
B - spaghetti on toast(2 small wholemeal toasts)
L - either tomato soup(baxters veggie choice) with some toast or a jacket spud with cheese and salad(1)
D - was going to take glamorgan sausage but have remembered a veggie lasagne in the freezer so will take that and have salad or veggies(2)
snacks - at least 3 portions of fruit! (3)
Hope you all have a good day!
Do what you love :happyhear0 -
Hi all.
Ok I must not eat chocolate
I must not eat crisps
I must not eat biscuits
Yeah ok that's easy to say at 9 am- give it a couple of hours
Anyway, food today:
breakfast: oats soaked in water with syrup (a bit less than recently) and banana
lunch: left over shep pie (hoping it will fill me up for longer)
dinner: chicken breast with pesto, wrapped in bacon and veg
Snacks? Probably a biscuit bar but hopefully only one todayworking on clearing the clutterDo I want the stuff or the space?0 -
Hi all,
Bit more optimistic today after a reasonable day yesterday (had an extra slice of toast in the evening as I am having bad refined carb withdrawl after my week of white bread and crap) but other than that it was OK.
Today could be difficult as there are drinks later for a colleague who is leaving so there are usually Pringles and nuts on every desk and filing cabinet. I shall resist!
B: 1 wholemeal deli roll with light cream cheese
L: HM Lentil red pepper soup, yoghurtRoast chicken with lots of veggies and mashed sweet potato
S: I have banana, clementines and apples so any of those if I feel peckish
Have a great day all0 -
Morning My Lovelies,
Does anyone mind if join you please? I posted yesterday on the "I Wanna" thread not realising that there was an OS one. Things financially for us are absolutely dire and I'm revisiting MSE and all things OS to try get things back on track.
My weight has gone from 13st6lb summer '07 to over 18st today (dont know the exact figure as battery on scales has died, will get another today so can work out goals and update my sig). My blood pressure has shot up and I am suffering massive headaches. Stress is massive as my marriage has been on the rocks for some time but we are going to relate now which is good though brings up manner of things I'd rather remained in the past.
Last week I decided enough was enough, I have 3 lovely children (4,5 & 6) who dont see enough of their mum as shes always in bed tired or ill. So I took myself off to my GP, spoke honestly about my relationship with food and asked for help. Shes weighed my (though i didnt look!), taken my bp (high when has always been low!) and has also done a complete blood panel to measure my cholesterol, risk of diateties etc. I get the results tomorrow morning and am going to ask if she can refer my to a nutritionist to reducate me in my eating habits.
I am SO pleased there is an OS Weight Loss thread as I love HM cooking and cook from scratch every night, have a SC and a BM (though have lost the paddle!!!!).
So today I have had:
B-porridge made with skimmed milk, pureed peaches and cinnamon.
cup of tea with semi skimmed milk.
Will now start a trawl through the thread to sneak a peek a recipies as very excited to be with you all!!!!
Al xWW Start Weight 18/04/12 = 19st 11lbsWeight today = 17st 6.5lbsLoss to date 32.5lbs!!!0
