morning!
Minted - your job sounds similar to mine with the same sort of temptations - we have takeaway on the menu too:rolleyes: I nearly always take food in although we do always have fruit, salad and tinned stuff like mackerel and tuna and spuds for a jacket so it is possible with a bit of planning. Mind you we also have crisps, biscuits and cake in the cupboards too:rolleyes: and its hard when others are eating them.
Hope you manage to keep on track!

Please can I join in? I really need to lose 4.5 stone - I know that I comfort-eat and with the stress at work (DH and I run a business together and "times is tough" as they say) I have really ballooned - not good as I have high blood pressure and a dodgy knee that could need surgery if I don't get the weight off  .
I've been skipping breakfast (no, not for the weight loss but 'cos when I'm stressed, my "natural digestive transit" goes all squiffy:o ) so I know I should get back to having something in the mornings. We pack a lunch for work which makes it easier in some ways to control that but the big downfall for both DH and me is when we get home from work. I have been trying to get meals ready earlier as I think going from 12.30 lunch to 8pm dinner is too long. We were given The Diet Plate each, so I'm hoping that sensible portion control will help too.
OK, I'm going to have a read through the threads now!Obedient women are never remembered in History!

I am dreading my weigh in tomorrow morning.
I've been terrible this past week.
Binging on Chocolate letters which are abundant this time of year in Holland...
I'm depressed.... I'm afraid I've gained loads instead of loosing and am once again wondering why I don't seem to have the stamina and will power to stick to a diet longer than a week.0 -

Course you can join in menolly, hi!:hello:
Wow, well done babykat:T and lainz:T !
With the exception of bonfire night I think I've done ok this week, one or two snacks have crept in but they've been included in my calorie count so shouldn't have done any damage in theory.
Today I've had......
B- porridge
L - BLT bap(one grilled rasher, no butter, bit of salad cream) with tomato cuppa soup
D- Stew (made this afternoon), stewed apple on meringue nest
Got a Wispa to watch the box with tonight.... someone here mentioned them the other day and you know when you just can't get something out of your head........:p
Moneypooh, hope you got on alright yesterday.
Floyd, hope you're feeling better today!0 -
Weigh in...
It's an absolute miracle. I have no idea how this happened!!!
After an entire week of out of control eating.. chocolate, biscuits, more chocolate, late night snacking...
I dreaded stepping on those scales today...
but I didn't gain!!
I even lost a wee bitty!!
Not much.. just 200 grams... but still!..I am SOOOO happy!!
Thought I must have gained at least 5 kilograms!
So I'm back motivated now!..
Welcome to the newbies on the thread! You'll find everybody here a friendly bunch.
