  • I didn't have a great weekend food wise. Ooops. Think weight will be up when I weigh in tomorrow.

Today I had a bacon sandwich for breakfast so hardly a great start!

    Lunch - ham sandwich

    Dinner - chicken casserole

I need to get a bit focussed or it'll be time for the wedding and my dress wont fit!

I need to replace my blender (dropped and broke the bowl and it was so old I couldn't buy a replacement bowl) so I can make lf and cheap soup. May get one of those hand blenders that are about £5, are they any good?

  • lambanana - i have one of those hand blenders from woolies, think it was aobut 6 pounds, and it works fine. can take a while if it's a really chunky soup, but i like to leave a few lumps anyway - and loads less washing up and fuss than a blender

bad day for me - went to a work do with a free bar last night so, er, dinner didn't happen and i've just had a breakfast bap! all those empty calories, tut tut bigsmoke
at an event at lunchtime so will be some sort of cafeteria lunch, maybe a baked potato
    fruit for snacks
and there's bound to be a can of full fat coke in there somewhere

early night tonight! have a great day everyone

Blimey NEWLYWED dont think I cold manage 3.5 miles in an hour if I was running let alone walking!!!! Well done you.

I've been cooking and cleaning today. Made a veg frittata for lunch with carrots, butternut squash and peas, lots of pepper and egs beaten with water. Tummy is telling me I'm hungry but I know it can't be as was a decent sized portion!

Off to pick up the kids from school in a mo, cake still cooking so will have to turn the oven off and hope for the best!!!!!

I don't do running ;) I've always walked fairly briskly. Plus it was mostly flat or slight incline. Was daydreaming about everyone's houses and roof extensions, and gardens. Was walking by nice semi-detached houses with front and back gardens, side driveways and garages - not overly huge but when you live in a flat.... and thinking how good it must be for my butt and legs since they ache slightly now :o

  • Hi all
Missed you yesterday, went to doc early, then on to work and couldn't get near puter when I got home. Weighed myself though and yet again have stayed the same. HO HUM. I started the year wanting to be under 11st but can't see that happening. It should be possible but I'm obviously not working hard enough.
Yesterday had no bfast as had fasting blood test. Took strawb yog, 2 satusumas to eat at work. Lunch wholemeal roll, Apple. Dinner french bread and cheese as couldn't face cooking.
Today bfast citrus salad (grapefruit and orange) and nat yog. Lunch wmeal roll, apple. Dinner. Linda Macartney pie with roast pots, carrots, peas and beans from the garden. Have eaten lots of cherry soothers and airwaves gum to sooth cough. Also lots of cough mixture. And sweets from work, and finished off that half carton of cream yesterday. Hmmm maybe need to cut back. Good luck everyone.

  • Not feeling great right now (toothache) but thought I'd report in...........

Breakfast: 2 slices wholemeal toast + UtterlyButterly (yeh, WAS going to do something better but tum rebelled)

Lunch: 2 slices wholemeal bread, wafer-thin beef, tomato slices. Handful of Grapes

    Afternoonsies: Apple

Dinner: Very lean farmshop burger cooked on the George Foreman Grill; salad and small wholemeal bun.

200ml white wine turned into a spritzer.

Then the toothache kicked in..........wahhhhh! So I have taken painkillers and will shortly head off to the bathroom for a soak in the tub, then a cup of tea and early night. Got the dentist tomorrow (oh, joy)
