No I didn't, I dont think my bum and hips are meant for a size 10 - too pear shaped plus they were hipsters which I'm not keen on. We are looking for a tall skinny person to have them now as they are long legged as well. Everyone else at work is a little too round:D

    evening all

just quickly checking in and wow, everyone is doing so well - fantastic to see so many smiling faces on this thread! big congrats to all the losers :)

bad week for me - i thought i was doing really well through the week, and although i had a few snacks over the weekend i didn't really drink much (compared to usual, oops), but i've gained another lb and am now 11st 1 :((. i'm so cross with myself for going back over that 11st barrier, i'm determined to get it down. i have a bonfire party on wenesday and am away for the weekend, but will try really really hard - must get back on the wagon!

was told tonight that my kung fu teacher is being laid off at the gym too, due to budget cuts on the teaching. we're all campaigning to keep him but i dont' know what chance there is of them listening. still, worth a try!!

keep at it everyone, seems to be working really well at the moment

Morning, hope everyone is OK. Well done procrastinator for being slimmer, looks like you've gained muscle, which is great, because it uses more energy than fat, making it easier to stay slim/lose more!

Well done too to Beccatje, ShelBell, and any other losers:T

And comisserations to the gainers, I know just how you feel, we will get there!

I haven't been around for a while, just couldn't seem to get a grip on my eating. Got a taste for crisps and choccy, and lost the plot:o. Finally had a successful day 1 yesterday, so back on track now. I will lose! Have decided that failing is no longer an option.icon7.gif

    Today:
    B: museli
    L: prawn or feta salad
    D: pasta bake, omelette
    Snacks: fruit, raw swede

    Have a great day everyone

Well done all the losers! :j

Just back from Halloween weekend at sis-in-laws. House in the middle of nowhere, and chocka with junk food. I'm actually disgusted with what she feeds her kids - fair enough it was a party on friday night, but the rest of the time it was kfc, mcdonalds and nutella, and as much sweets and crisps as they could manage. They eat like this all the time! She must know they are being damaged by such a diet surely? They are like little dwarves.

Suffice it to say I have emerged constipated and full of spots and never want to see another pringle again in my life. Probably put on the 5 lb I lost last week,, but got 4 days till weigh-in day to put things right. I am craving fruit and veg and real food.

On the plus side, we had a little outing to asda and I went to check out the credit crunch coat. It looked really nice but I was a bit gutted that there were no 18s or 20s on the rail. So tried on a 16 just to see if it would generally suit me and I would order the right size online. But it fitted! Quite snug, but not gaping-between-the-buttons tight, just close fitting and gives a lovely hourglass shape.

I can't remember the last time i was in a 16 top or coat! Hurray!
