    Well done Procrastinator!!

It's SOO lovely to be able to buy clothes in a smaller size. Even if it's 'just'.
It'll keep you motivated to go on so you'll fit them comfortably and imagine how you'll feel when even these will become too big!..

I have finally weighed! After being away on my road trip and missing last week I'm pleased to say I'm 6lbs down from 2 weeks ago :j :j

That takes me to over the half way point, to get to a healthy BMI I have 55lbs left to go.

Hospital check up tomorrow following the surgery, so hopefully they'll say I'm doing well.

Todays meals are a hotchpotch as first day home.

    B - Special K bar
L - Buffet at some council event
D - Small bit of roasted meat probably.

Good luck to all the other monday weighers, congrats to procrastinator!

  • Hi
Weighed myself this morning and not sure weather to laugh or cry. Have checked last wi which was on 20 Oct and I was 11st 6 and today I am ... 11st 6! But I feel thinner and I wore my new trousers yesterday with no discomfort - they are high waisted and previously my size 16's would leave marks on my tum. So I must have lost inches but why no movement on the scales, also I did have a sneaky look on Sunday and I was 11.3 then how can I have found 3lb overnight? Put the trousers back on this morn and yes they still fit. I am fighting to stay upbeat, but what is it that happens to my scales on a Monday morning?

Thank you everyone who has posted congrats on the size change it makes me feel so good when I read your positive comments. I will not let you or myself down. Today will be cereal bfast, wholemeal roll lunch and bean stew for dinner. Snacks are peach, plums and apples.
    WL 11 st 5lb as at 050109. 160209 11st 2lb

You can have a change in size without seeing it on the scales easily.
    Have you been doing excercise?
Muscle weighs more than fat but it takes up less space. SO if you've lost fat and gained muscle tissue due to working out you can weigh the same (or more) and still look and feel slimmer.
So measuring is actually a better way to keep track of your progress than weighing.

I also find that my weight can change a lot over night due to hormonal changes. Before my period is due I seem to gain a lot over night. Can be water retention or something. I'm always lightest the day after my period ends. :D

    Keep motivated my friend!
    You'll get there.

  • A severe dose of the munchies which lasted most of last week and all weekend has resulted in a gain of 1.5lb this morning:eek:  A pound on last week, 1.5 this week.... I'll be back to where I started come Christmas if I don't get a grip!!

Gave myself a good talking to last night as I finished off the last of the bickies... must say it was almost a relief to put the empty packet in the bin and say that's it, no more. I've made a fresh start today... so far so good, and there's no yummy nibbles left in the house now so this week should be better (unless I go shopping of course:p .... Noooooooooooo!!)

Well done losers and shrinkers, keep it up!

Stuck to plan so far today except for a packet of crisps this afternoon

I didn't even enjoy them that much, I was just fed up  'cos I couldn't get hold of my friendly mechanic and my car is due for its MOT:doh:

I had couscous with my stew and am now 'comfortably full' :D hopefully I won't have anything else to eat tonight........
