  • Hi everyone, I am also from the GC threads and need to lose the last of my 'baby' weight which is approx 1.5 stone. I have been doing WW but just can't get into it and my weight is up and down like a yo-yo! I have been trying to meal plan better and cooking from scratch is going really well :D So I thought it wise to gain some help from here to try and inspire me. I probably won't be able to post lots but I will lurk and try and post when I get a few mins if thats ok, but I will continue to weigh on Monday evening and update my progress here ;)

    Another newbie here. I'd like to join in, if I may. I'm 6' tall and currently 13st 8lb - last time I checked, but I'm sitting here with twink in one hand as I type, and I scoffed 3 packs of crisps in one sitting yesterday, so current weight is anyone's guess! I'd like to get down to 12st for my wedding in September. I had got down to 12st 13 in June this year, but fell off the wagon big time and have put 9lb back on :o

    Snacking is my major problem. Though I think a lot of that is down to the fact that I work in an office with a bunch of fellow snackers and if one person starts munching on something, that sets me off and I have to have something too. I get on much better when I'm at home, apart from odd days when it seems all I want to do is eat (like yesterday).

    I have done SW successfully in the past, so I'm going to follow the general principles of that and see how I get on.

    Alright..

    Had tatties (boiled) and veggies for dinner. Also made chickenlegs but found that a bit too greasy really. Just had a small bite from my 4 yrs old.

    Also went to the gym! WHOOOHOOO!!.. did an almost hour workout which made me feel pretty proud of myself.

    I have no idea what you guys mean by so many stone but that's okay. :D
    I'm in the Netherlands and we go by kilo's. I'll just make a good guess! :D

    Day one of my this time around weight loss plan. Working tomorrow so should be ok as I can't snack too much at work.

    L - A bit of a chicken ceaser salad in TGI Fridays (mostly chicken, no croutons)
    S - 1/3 of a small tub of salted popcorn, 2 peices off a kit kat senses or whatever its called
    D - 1/3 can of reduced s&s baked beans topped with low fat cheddar.

    so not done as well today as other days, but not bad!

    Not doing well these days....lose 2 lbs and then struggle for weeks to keep it off...am now 2 lbs lighter than I was in September 07 when this thread started!

    Beccatje....1 stone is 6.36k (approx!) Where are you in Netherlands, I used to love going there when DS1 and his family lived near Amsterdam...but they are now only 2 and a half hours away in Cork so that is better really.

    To-day I have eaten:
    B....bowl pomelo and pomegranate (guess what I bought in Lidl on Saturday), egg sandwich and coffee;
    L....thin homemade pizza left over from yesterday, 2 apples;
    D....Bacon, cabbage, half corncob, mash with loads of butter;
    S....Coffee with iced lemon slice (large).

    Welcome to the newbies, congratulations to losers, commiserations to non-losers and gainers (is that English as she should be spoke?)

    Hello the newbies and congrats to the losers. :j

    Disaster day yesterday. Won't post what I ate as it will just put wicked ideas in your head. ;)

    Plan for today:

    Breakfast: banana, benecol yoghurt drink, potato waffle, egg

    Lunch: shapers sanwich

    Dinner:pasta in mushroom and leek sauce

    snacks: melon and grapes
    2015 wins: Jan: Leeds Castle tickets; Feb: Kindle Fire, Years supply Ricola March: £50 Sports Direct voucher April: DSLR camera June: £500 Bingo July: £50 co-op voucher
  • My meal plan for the days is:
    B- toast
    L- egg mayo sarnie
    D-Leftover shepherds pie & cabbage
    Snacks- banana/apple
    I know its not that low fat (esp the egg mayo) but thats what needs eating up and I can't stand to see it go to waste (which is half my problem LOL)
