D - Tesco butternut and cranberry roast(from freezer) with HM cauli and broccoli cheese and a few SW roasters(3)

snacks - banana, pear, apple or satsuma(3 hopefully)

If I follow the plan thats 8 portions:j never in my life have I eaten that much fruit and veg:D

Mmm potato waffles. I'm liking them as a substitute for toast. Can't have bread in the house as i will eat the whole lot in one go with lashings of butter and jam and peanut butter etc etc. So decided to try waffles as a brekkie item. Had 2 waffles with 2 poached eggs today (lots of pepper, no salt, no butter) and thought it a very delish breakfast indeed and not too naughty. It was a second brekkie though :o as I have been up very early with bubba and needed something earlier.

1st brekkie - benecol yoghurt drink, grapes, banana
2nd brekkie - potato waffles and poached eggs
lunch - smoked cod and cherry tomatoes poached in milk with baby new potatoes and peas
dinner - chickpea and butternut squash korma

snacks - must get that melon chopped up so I can pick at it from the fridge!

I reckon that must be 5-7 helpings of fruit and veg - great challenge taplady.

  • Hi all
I'm gonna join ya at it, although i don't post much on weight loss threads!!

I WILL lose 20lbs in the next 11 weeks - takes me to my 34th birthday in January and IS achievable if i stick to it, which I WILL because i WANT TO LOSE WEIGHT, get fit and be healthy.

    13 st 4lbs is 85 kilos which is 187.5lbs

B - porridge - but nd to get in some SS milk had to use full fat
L - mexican tuna salad in wholemeal wrap
    D - chicken & veg soup
Snacks will be fruit and yogurt and those really tasty snackojacks for the times when i want to have "bad food".

BTW the bold and CAPS are for me to motivate me and keep me on track!!

Hi all, been a bit absent as I have being doing lots of work stuff (even though its supposed to be my day off).

I am still feeling pretty grotty and my guts are off, hope it sorts out by friday as I have to wear my slinky dress and I don't want it to look like I'm digesting a bowling ball :)

B: 3 wholemeal toast and cheese spread

L: Wholemeal toastie with thin sliced cheddar, vine tomatoes and black olives

D: Cauliflower balti (HM) with brown rice

S: Nothing as we don't have anything in, haven't had time to go shopping due to work bobbins :(

Not even made any soup for next week which spells trouble, will have to figure out some time to do it.

Well done to all the losers and welcome to the newbies

Hi all. new to this thread.

I'm needing to loose weight... preferably 10 kgs in a week!

Anyways.. I can write books about diets... done them all, know them all.
I know what to do.. i just can't seem to do it.

I'm an emotional eater for one, and for second, I just love food!
But everytime I look in a mirror I am just sad.
I need to loose at LEAST 10 kilos. Pref. 15.
So I'll just join you here if that's okay.

So that I've got someone to report to. I always seem to think: 'Oh I'll just have this snack now, and start diet tomorrow.

Then there's a party or something, and I dress up and all.. look in the mirror and vow to loose the weight once again.

So... I'm giving it another go

    wish me luck.

trying to resist some left over pizza now..
kids are snacking on choccies.. husband just reheated the pizza left over from last night..... and I'm STARVING!!!

Alright, so what I ate today so far.

On sunday we always do "Brunch"

    i had:
    Scrambled egs
    1 rasher bacon
    1 sausage
1 tablespoon (aprox) of fried union, mushroom, green pepper mix.
2 slices of toast with strawberry Jam.

That was at about 11.. and usually holds me over till well into the afternoon..

until now.. where I did just eat two slices of pizza..

    sigh.

Soo... will think of something low fat and healthy to cook for dinner.. and try not to snack later on tonight.

Been reading through this thread a bit and am SO glad to read I am not the only one who can eat 6 *somethingorother*bars by myself. :D

it's terrible. Sometimes I am really ashamed of myself. No wonder I'm not skinny!

Hi all, welcome to newcomers :D

Had a nice restful day today. Been for a walk around Marlow's shops, got some great cookbooks in a second hand bookshop, and some lovely kitchen bits and bobs.

B - Nearly a whole slice of wholemeal toast with LF philly
L - Nearly 1/2 a corned beef sandwich on wholemeal bread
D - Small peice of chicken, a small new potato, and maybe a chunk of roasted butternut squash if I can manage it.
    Weight loss to date - 8st 13lbs :j

    Afternoon all,

Have not eaten normally at all to-day...fry-up for breakfast, preceded by bowl off pomelo, pomegranate and apricots; then at two we all ate hm pizza, sausage rolls and wedges, followed by large slice of chocolate cake, at this stage I have drawn a line under the day....going to be good from to-morrow.

    Good luck to all
