Had a training day today at work, is it only me that shuts off half way through the day? Nothing seems to sink in after lunch, speaking of food, here is my food for today...
B = bran flakes and a nana
L = Selection of sandwiches, laid on at the training, with 2 crisps!!! and loadsa fruit
T = Steak, mushrooms, sweet potatoes and salad.
S = some chicken, orange x 3
I can feel myself steering towards the sweetie box in the fridge but I need to be strong..... I CAN DO IT!!!

Hi all, I am new to this thread, have read the first and last few pages and hoping to wade through the rest tomorrow.
I weighed myself the other day and instead of losing the half a stone I wanted to I put it on!!!!!!!!:eek:
So have decided to actually watch what I eat, I am very proud of being a great cook, but it does me no favours sometimes! I thought if I posted here like you all do, it would force me to try to cut down as I'll be so embarrassed!
Won't post todays as it is so shameful! OH stupidly told me he didn't like the harvest chewie bars I bought him so I ate 6 of them...

oh, and as I write this I am drinking homemade hot chocolate, which I swear is healthier than instant but tastes very bad for me! Semi skimmed and green and blacks? How much fat can there really be in that? No, don't tell me!

Hi Ragz, welcome
Today I have to get everything sorted for the road trip I'm taking my son on tomorrow. We leave straight from school tomorrow to go to Marlow, then on to Eastbourne. Other people cooking for me for 10 days, scary!
B - Special k choc orange bliss cereal bar
L - Small piece of smoked salmon and green salad
D - Left over LF Thai Chicken Curry
Recipes....
LF Thai Chicken Curry
1 large chicken breast (or 2 small ones)
(optional veggies, but preferably ones that can be 'stir fried' such as pak choi, spinach, baby sweetcorn if using)
4 tbsp of thai curry paste
1 can of low fat coconut milk
Spray oil
Rice to serve (optional)
Spray a large pan with oil, and fry off the thai paste, meat and optional veggies for 4-5minutes.
Add the coconut milk, stir well, and simmer for 10-15 minutes.
Serve with the optional rice, best served in a bowl as it's quite runny.
Tomato & Butterbean Soup (alternative to plain tomato)
8-10 tomatoes, chopped
1/2 onion, chopped
tin of butterbeans
Basil & seasoning
Throw the tomatoes and onions in to a pan and heat until they soften. If the tommys are underripe you may need to add a splash of water to get the liquids going.
Add the butterbeans, basil, and seasoning and simmer for 15-20 minutes.
Either serve as is, or blend for a velvety texture.
The butterbeans add protein to the dish, and if blended you won't know they are there!Weight loss to date - 8st 13lbs :j0 -

Went swimming last night 8.30 after a kids club so when we got in the pool was empty and although more adults came not so many as on our usual night. Might suggest to friend we change nights. Did 50 lengths in an hour so was very pleased. When we first started going did 30 lengths, then after a year or 2 upped it to 40 and now we regularly do 50. My arms and legs are aching this morning but it is a nice feeling.
Bfast: cereal, lunch: salad and roll, dinner:quorn spag bol. Snacks: fruit.WL 11 st 5lb as at 050109. 160209 11st 2lb

well STS week this week.
I did get the munchies during HSM3 last night and had far too many chocolate eclairs even though I kept giving them to the children
There were a few slip ups last week so OK with STS

Day one of my post holiday pre-Christmas diet.
B- HM Banana bread- Its got to be eaten:rolleyes:
L-HM Brocolli and stilton soup and a roll
D Got some LF sausages I'll try and find a nice casserole type thingy to do with them.
Snacks maybe a tad more banana bread and a large mishapen pear (my boss has already seen fit to comment on my large misshapen pear today so un-pc here!)
Planning 10k steps on my pedometer too
