    Morning folks :j
Feeling a bit 'offy' today, sore throat and the beginings of a cold.....

Yesterday was okish, stuck to plan mostly but at tea time I made courgette risotto using orzo pasta insted of rice. I got the idea from another board but it wasn't very nice........didn't have my plums as the yoghurt was well past it's sell by date:eek: so I had a mini muffin which was dry and not nice

OH baked bread later on so I had 2 small slices of celery, cheese and walnut bread which wasn't as nice as it sounded!!!!!

    Today: -
B - boiled eggs and wholemeal soldiers
    S - banana (1)
L - carrot and parsnip soup (2) with ryvitas and ELF cream cheese (I have got some of OH's bread but don't fancy it)
D - pea and spinach cakes with courgettes (2)
    Fruit for snacks

I should do the 5 a day if I stick to plan, dancing tonight for exercise

Well done to the losers

Well done Sugarhunny thats a great loss :T

I am aching today, went swimming last night and only managed 24 lengths as it was absolutely chokka with lots of idiot people diving and doing big splashy front crawl  As a result we were constantly looking for gaps to swim into and I had to do a short stroke to avoid catching other people. I suppose an hour of patchy swimming is better than an hour of sitting on my bum :rotfl: it just frustrates me that some weeks I can easily do 40+ and others I am restricted by how busy it is.

B: Bran Flakes and semi milk

    L: HM lentil soup

D: HM Quorn cottage pie with cauli, carrots and peas

    S: Skinny cappuccino

Hope I won't be too late today, I am tired after a fun-packed weekend and can't face a really long day
  • Hi all,
Remember me? Well I'm back from my scuba diving holiday in Egypt, a bit tanned, absolutely knackered and my wetsuit is looking a tad lumpier than when I went but I've not been able to face the bathroom floor monster yet:o
    I think I may start again tomorrow:think:
I've probably put on about 6lbs (?) so would love to lose maybe 10 pound maybe by my birthday end of Jan
NIce to see so many new and old :p faces.
    Be good from tomorrow honest:D

Welcome back Saversarn! of course we remember you!:D good luck for tomorrow, hope its not as bad as you think!;)

Agapanthus - interesting article and I think very true.:T I do try and eat more slowly and chew properly as I find this helps my IBS too. Paul Mackenna advocates this in his think yourself thin plan too.
I work with one of the girls who was doing the Edwardian diet(chew 32 times) but she didn't stick to it when she got back and put weight on, she's now doing the Cambridge diet.

am starving now so off to get my spud!
    Do what you love :happyhear

Thanks for the article Agapanthus, and well done all the losers!

I've gained 3lb this week, so not very happy, I do know why though, so that's something at least. Somtimes life's stresses just take over, it's gonna be a long slow haul! Gave in to temptation yesterday and had pizza n pie for tea, were all just so tired!

    Food today:
    B: musei
L: ham & cheese sandwichm, naughty wispa
    D: pasta, ragu, & parmesan
    S: museli bar, fruit

have a great day everyone, j
    Anytime;)

    Afternoon all...

Firstly - I've missed you guys! Since I changed jobs my 'spare time' has been dramatically reduced, it's taken me a couple of months to get into the swing of things, both at home and at work.

Am still plodding away with the weight loss - went on Holiday last week and didn't put on a pound, so very happy with that.

    Today:

B: porridge, skimmed milk. Glass of OJ
    S: apple
L: salad wrap, small pot of leftover pasta
    S: pear
D: salmon fillet with low fat philly sauce, lime rice, veg

Have a lovely day everyone x

Hi all! Congrats on the losses.

Tired today after all the driving yesterday.

B - nearly 1/2 an onion bagel with lf spread
L - 1/2 a corned beef and brown sauce sandwich on wholemeal bread
    S - dairylea strip cheese
D - LF thai green chicken curry (finally remembered to get LF coconut milk!)

Am having a good day today, my size 20 jeans are falling down constantly, I'm wearing a size 18 top, and I bought an amazing frock for my work xmas do as I'm taking my volunteers somewhere swanky and had nothing that fits to wear! The dress makes me feel amazing and it's a lovely teal blue colour. Of course, I had to take the matching shoes, otherwise they would have got lonely.

    Ladies & Gentlemen !!

I hope i am not getting above my station here but i think that with the seasons changing and us all lurching back towards our comfort stodge can i ask all of you lovely folk to post 2 fave meals along with instructions!

I feel this would be of help to all of us by helping us try exciting new things and hopefully finding new fave meals to replace that classic unhealthy options.

If i may be so bold, can i please ask for one new meal and one healthy alternative for a classic ie veggie stew instead of beef stew ect

Lets hope we start a skinnylicious craze here on os.

Will have a good think about my contributions and then get back here
    Thanks all.
    Vicky
