Hiya everyone, i've STS this week. Suprising to me cuz i thought with the amount of rubbish i've packed away this week i'd of gained. Had a total nightmare last week. CH went loopy on us, not getting hot water. Well we are for about 5mins then its freezing again. No plummers are available for 2weeks so will have to put up with it till then:mad: . Then my laptop died. I'm at my mum's using her pc at the moment so thats why i've not been online for a while. Should have new laptop by end of next week hopefully. And ds hasnt been too well, waking up at 3 n 4 in the morn not good!
But on a positive note i got a part time job:D , more money coming in less stress (in theory!)
Have to say hi to any newcomers and well done to any loosers. Havent had chance to read through all posts but will catch up as soon as i'm back online.

Thanks for the welcomes
Droopy it's good to know others are weighing the same day. Must admit I tend to weigh twice a week but really need to get back in the habit of once a week! My last weigh was friday though so only expecting a couple of lbs tomorrow.
Todays menu -
B - 2/3 piece of wholemeal toast with low fat pate
L - 2/3 tin of weight watchers morroccan tomato and chickpea soup
D - slow cooked chicken and a little bit of gravy
S - none so far, none planned.
Exercise - 40minutes swimming at the gym.
Going to make a healthy chicken soup with leftovers from the slow cooked chook, got some Mr M's country broth mix soaking ready to bulk the protein. Need to make more soup as having tins all the time isn't ideal! Might try recreating the tin I had today.Weight loss to date - 8st 13lbs :j0 -
Luckuly i am a weigh-er at my WW group so it makes me go each week otherwise i know i would be very lucky to raise the determination to go.
Another long day at work.
B - porridge with dried apricots and a banana(2)
L - yorkshire pud, 2 roasters(done SW way) roasted sweet spud, butternut squash, carrots, cauli and broccoli and a few sprouts with gravy.(3 ish)
D - cheese on toast(small wholemeal loaf - 2 slices) and a portion of grapes(1)
I also had a small jam and cream scone(HM) at work mid afternoon as we were entertaining visitors with a cream tea.
thats 6 portions today, possible 7 if I have any raisins later:T
Good luck with your weigh ins tomorrow everyone!Do what you love :happyhear0 -
Evening everyone!
Today has been a very lazy day as I'm back at work tomorrow so have pottered about the house, although I did pop to ASDA and TESCO to get packed lunch supplies for the kids. I have to admit I'm concerned that going back to work will put a spanner in the works regarding the healthly eating but will try my best not to succumb.
Today
B = Asda special K (again, getting slightly bored of this now, maybe bran flakes tomorrow)
L = beef soup with 2 slices of ww toast and a muller light
D = beef stew with potatoes, veg and gravy with a s/f jelly
S = Curly Wurly
I had a curly wurly and it tasted delicious. More so because I'm not filling my face with rubbish all the time.
Good luck with all the weigh in's tomorrow, I will be thinking of you all!

Evening all,
Not doing great, seem to have good days and bad ones and cravings for sweet stuff.
To-day I have eaten:
B....2 blueberry pancakes with butter and syrup, 2 rashers, slice currant loaf with bread and jam, coffee;
L.....about 2 stewed apples, another coffee;
D....chicken and bacon, onion done in oven with gravy, sauteed bokchoy, 2 small potatoes, 2 baked apples with ice-cream, coffee.
As you will guess, we are awash with apples, meant to buy a dehydrator, can't on-line as sites won't accept that I don't have a postcode, so am going hunting to-morrow!
Well done to the losers and welcome to the newbies

STS today, which isn't bad considering I only weighed last Friday! Since last Monday I have lost 3lbs though
B - 2/3 piece of wholemeal toast with low fat pate
L - 1/2 corned beef sandwich
D - HM Chicken broth
Got a tai chi class in my diary for this morning, gym bag packed so no excuse not to go, will try and think of one though!
(Suicidal volunteer turned into the best excuse ever, so didn't make it.)
MeanMarie I know where you're coming from, we're in a new build so although we have a post code most sites don't recognise it.
Hope other Monday weigh ins go well!Weight loss to date - 8st 13lbs :j0 -

S - banana(1)
L - sandwiches with some salad and a potion of grapes(2)
S - pear(1)
D - meal out or hopefully veggie lasagne with a side salad(2)
S - yoghurt
that makes 6 of my 5 a day hopefully!;)
good luck all!Do what you love :happyhear0 -
Mornin' :hello:
It's brilliant reading through the threads this morning. I try to get here every day but life is so busy at the moment - and it's still 9 weeks to Crimbo.
I did a sneaky WI today a few days early and was dead chuffed that I'd lost a lb.:)
I have a day off today and have decided to get myself organised. I'm also going to have a bit of 'me' time.
I've very inspired by you guys that sort out daily planners, some do weekly. Wow!! How comes I'm not that sorted?? Well today I WILL get my meal planner sorted for this week. I know that 'last minute' meal decisions aren't helpful as my 'easy options' quite often involve a take-awayThat's not good for waist or finances.
Have a good week everyone and stay positive :j0 -
Good morning.
I was unable to get on the computer over the weekend, missed reading your posts. I tried very hard, but yesterday was not so good as I succumbed to a bag of cheese and onion at lunch time and then went to a friends in the evening and topped up with kettle chips and minstrels. Have been keeping up with the five a day challenge so overall not too bad.
I have lost 1lb this week - back to 11 6. Must try really hard to lose another lb and not put it back on next week.
Droopydrawers hope you get to the pool Tues, I went on Thurs and managed to swim 50 lengths which was amazing as I have been so exhusted.
10,000 steps walked yesterday, will try and do same today.
