I wasn't going to post this morning to be honest as I've put on a few pounds
I was going to leave it until I had lost it again but that's not the point of a support thread is it??
I guess I've decided to live in the real world and be honest with myself. I knew this could happen as my new medication could cause a weight upset for a while. It's still made me a bit down today, but writing here I know that everyone will be shouting at their computers IT'S OK!!! and just move on....... today is another day.
I'd really like to encourage everyone to keep it up.
Despite being over my start target now, it's not the end of the world and I'm just going to look at my current situation and adjust things as I need to.
Christmas is 10 weeks away and I can still lose a decent amount before then.
B - cereal
L - tuna sandwich
EM - s&s chicken & rice
snacks - fruit & yogs
catch up with you later

Morning folks :hello:
Stuck mailnly to plan yesterday and managed my 5 a day, the only extra was a slice of HM bread and jam when I got back from dancing OOPS!
I feel a bit better today, headache is barely there now......
Food today - B: not very hungry so just had a toast but now I'm starving so I've had a banana and a cereal bar.
L: Last nights leftover SW quiche, new pots and beetroot, grapes
T: Not sure, Grandchildren minding for an hour after work  so it will be something late and quick!
Exercise today id belly dancing at lunchtime
Taplady - paying is always a good reason to get back on track0 -
Hi all
Yesterday turned into a bad PMT day, I ate 4 squares of dark chocolate before tea because I was starving and we didn't have any fruit or crackers. That quickly turned into another 8 squares of dark and 4 squares of white choccy and a tablespoon of peanut butter. I then felt too sick to eat all my tea but fortunately OH ate the rest so it didn't get wasted
Today I will probably be in work very late so I have already made sure I am prepared for the inevitable. There is lentil soup and wholemeal bread in the freezer, sugar free sweets from M & S in my desk (my guilty secret that stops me nibbling through boredom) and a big pile of apples, bananas and strawberries in my fruitbowl.
B: Branflakes, skimmed milk and a small banana
L: Moroccan chickpea soupEither scouse and beetroot if I am home or lentil soup and bread if I am working, probably the latter
S: Maybe a skinny cappucccino later if I have time0 -
I have been bad. I had steak and salad for lunch (less htan half price), and 2 glasses of white wine, followed by a cup of tea with amince pie. I may have to just leave this day in the far recesases of my memory when I weigh in.I ave a dodgy H, so sometimes I will sound dead common, on occasion dead stupid and rarely, pig ignorant. Sometimes I may be these things, but I will always blame it on my dodgy H.
Sorry, I'm a bit of a grumble weed today, no offence intended ... well it might be, but I'll be sorry.0 -
Oops, I meant recesses ~ two glasses of wine eh?

Well its nearly 1 am and I'm still in work so its turned into a super-late one. Don't expect me to check in too early tomorrow
So far I have managed to steer clear of the vending machine but my food plans changed somewhat:
B: Branflakes, skimmed milk and a small banana
L: Moroccan chickpea soup[STRIKE]Either scouse and beetroot if I am home or lentil soup and bread if I am working, probably the latter [/STRIKE] Neither, ended up with spaghetti on toast and an apple.
S: [STRIKE]Maybe a skinny cappucccino later if I have time[/STRIKE] Strawberries and 2 small bananas and a bag of Walkers french fries crisps. Also had lots of sugar free sweets so no doubt I will have gut-rot later
Back to it, hopefully I can go home soon otherwise i will be too tired to drive :eek:0 -
Morning all!
I'm up 5lbs since Wednesday, (had a sneaky weigh in:cool:) and 4 lbs since last friday! Really weird, I was away visiting my mum last 2 days and ate in cafe's a lot, but only overate slightly, if at all, and we went for long walks, so dunno what my daft body's playing at. My belt and clothes are still looser though, and I'm focussing on long-term, so I've decided it's just a fluke and not to be stressed about. Weird though!
Food today:
B: museli
L: toast and whatever I can find (fridge is empty till I shop this eve)salmon and wedges or l/f chips, not sure
S: yoghurt/fruit
Have a good day, loads to do here, so bye fro now, xxAnytime;)0 -
Morning folks :hello:
I weighed in this morning and have lost 1lb which I'm really pleased about :j :j :j considering I had chips and bread and butter for my tea yesterday!
I was so shattered after a full day in work, and hours drive and then minding 2 little ones for 2 hours that it seemmed a reasonable choice!
I've had weetabix for brekkie, just had a banana and a cereal bar, lunch will have to be bought as the cupboards were bare(of lunchy type foods ) and I have to go into town so it's easy to get a butty and eat it on the bus but I will make a 'healthy choice':D
Tea will be decided when I get in, maybe veggie sausage and SW chips......
Floyd - what do you do? Your hours seem horrendous!! :eek:0 -
I know that I have been wayward
and my weight has gone skyward
but one step forward
rather
than another three backward
Back on track
Thank goodness for that :j

Cell biology. I work on tissues from operations that people very kindly agree to donate to us so I have to keep going until the tissue dies. There is a small window of opportunity of study time after it is removed from the person so some days I will be in at 7.30am to set everything up and won't get the call to go to theater until 6pm then I have at least 6 hours of experiments to do.
It is unfortunate but on the upside my job is very flexible, I am not expected in today as I was in so late last night/this morning and I can take my holidays when it suits me (within reason).
Today I am a bit dozy so I am just bumbling round the house trying to tidy up and think about doing some baking.
B: Nothing, a big ol sleep sandwich
L: Chilli mushroom ramen at Wagamama, no idea of the calories, its so daft they don't put any nutritional info on their site or in their recipe booksScouse that I was supposed to eat yesterday, it improves overnight so I'm looking forward to that
S: Nothing, trying to be careful because I don't know what was in my lunch
Weigh in tomorrow, fingers crossed for a TOTM STS or even if I'm lucky a small loss :rolleyes:0
