  • Hi all, WB rockie :hello:

Welcome vickyj :hello: and almar :hello: Well done on your losses :j :T

taplady I think I probably get enough veg (maybe) but I dont eat fruit so last week I started my own apple a day challenge to try to increase my fruit intake. I'm gonna add either banana/raisins+/OJ for brekkie too, to make 2or3 portions of fruit a day. :A

    Food today
    B: 1xweetabix 1xtoast L: eggy bread S: apple/yoghurt D: veggie sausages chips & beans.

oops - not had 5 F&V today :o so I'm gonna have some OJ in a sec :p

    Food tomorrow
    B: rice crispies & OJ (1 Fruit portion) L: toast S: apple /yoghurt (1 F) D: turkey noodle stir fry (3 V)

    Take care all :)

  • Hi folks,

I finally took the plunge and went back to Weight Watchers today and felt really disgusted with myself when she told me how much I weighed but I'm thinking positive and motivating myself to be good and increase my exercise.

    B = Bran flakes and a banana

L = Steamed salmon and steamed vegetables

D = chicken with BBQ seasoning and salad with a ton of beetroot

I also was a bad mother and forced my kids to walk into town, around town with a rest stop at the library then walking home.

Rested at home and then walked into town again to their swimming lessons, i then had a 45 minute work out at the gym and then walked home via ASDA to get Mullerlights and the chicken/veg for dinner.

I was hoping to park the car and then walk to a farm shop (about 2 miles) tomorrow and treat myself to a white coffee but the forecast is poor so may leave the kids with OH and go back to the gym. I want to keep the momentum up but not burn myself out.

Sorry for the long first post. I'll try and make the next one shorter :j

    Morning folks,

Not so great yesterday, I bought coffee sponge roll for OH from M & S as its his absolute favourite cake and I can't make anything that even comes close. We ate a big chunk of that with a large dollop of whipped cream on top, felt sooooooooo ill afterwards because its a very long time since I binge ate anything like that. I know that its probably hormone induced as normally I wouldn't bother eating it as I don't really like it :(
Anyway, today is a new day and I need to move on and get on with it. Didn't go swimming last night either as my friend couldn't come and I never seem to be able to make myself go on my own.

B: Porridge made with water and skimmed milk

    L: HM lentil soup

D: Sausage and bean casserole with cabbage, carrots and peas

S: Possibly a skinny cappuccino and some apples

Hope I'm not in too late tonight, if I am it could be the same as last week where I end up with beans on toast and crisp butties at midnight!

    Have a great day all

  • Hi
I'm with you on the 5 a day. Can you confirm how many portions you count when having a mixed salad? I have some beetroot to use up so will be grating this with carrot & cabbage into home made coleslaw for dinner along with lettuce, toms, cue, onions, olives and any other veggies I find in the fridge. Maybe a jacket spud as well. (I know spuds don't count in the 5.)
Bfast was 1 kiwi sliced in nat yog. Maybe some cereal before I go.
Lunch small whole meal roll - plain.
    Dinner as above.
    Snacks 2 apples.
