Well done Jay, floyd and MeanMarie! :j

As usual I "disappeared" from here for a bit as I knew I was doing a bit rubbish. Didn't weigh myself for a few weeks for the same reason - was feeling very depressed at being back in the 13 stone zone after battling to dip a toe in the twelves.

However, am feeling very proud because I managed to pull myself together and focus on healthy eating and weighed in at 12 stone 10 on friday. :T So feeling much more positive. Secret weapon - lots of chopped up honeydew melon with lully sweet red grapes in a bowl in the fridge for those pesky sugar cravings. Even OH is loving the combo. And looking like he might actually take weightloss seriously too now as he is flat on his back on the floor with sciatica.

For the veggies among us there's a few nice recipes in the Somerfield magazine this month. I am determined to try something new and they look really nice and simple.

    B - toast and jam

L - jacket spud salad and tuna

    S - goodness bar

D - cauliflower cheese, butterut squash and a yorkshire pud.

S - a small portion of apple crumble (HM) with some custard made with skimmed milk.

hope you're all enjoying your weekend.

  • Evening all, and hello and welcome to our newbies:wave:

Had a miserable few days. Woke up feeling like I'd been gargling with razorblades on Friday morning, which developed into a rotten cold by the evening.... just in time for the weekend! Food has consisted mainly of quick and easy...soup, sandwiches, toast and cereals. Think I've managed to stay inside my calorie limit but I haven't done much moving about either so will have to wait and see how that pans out when I get on the scales tomorrow.

Great to see some losses going on, well done girls!!:T

Me too, I hope you get well soon droopydrawers, sounds like an awful cold!

I had a good day, clothes shopping/bonding with teen DD, had such a good time I forgot to have lunch. Had a second helping of dinner, but recon cal count was still fairly low, will hopefully make up a bit for the crisps I've been eating:rolleyes: :o.

    Have a good evening everyone.
    Anytime;)
