My dinner plans went up the pipe!

I am still in work now after starting at 7.30am but the desk-drawer emergency supplies came to the rescue :)

D: [STRIKE]HM Quorn chilli with brown rice and a salad[/STRIKE] 3 wholemeal toast with small tin of spaghetti. I am also just about to have a Walkers French Fries sandwich :D on wholemeal bread spread with Laughing Cow Light cheese triangle. An absolutely dreadfully balanced meal but it has stopped me from raiding the vending machine (there are chunky Kit Kats in there and Drifters :( ), bit of a detox required tomorrow I think......At least I am within my days calories even if I have eaten enough bread to sink a ship!

Wow Floyd that's a long long day, especially without adequate provisions, well done for resisting the vending machine, they are diet assassains. Easy with the detox, hope today is good for you.

Yesterday I changed dinner as teens didn't fancy salad, what a surprise, but I still had it with cheesy potates and onions. Others had sausage and mash with undressed coleslaw. Made a mistake when grating the carrots I put the disk upside down in the processor and ended up with sliced carrots instead, so I served this to all.
today Bfast2 hard boiled eggs, lunch cheese sarnie, dinner ? maybe quorn curry depends if we have to rush out.

    Morning all (only just!)

I finally finished at midnight last night so was home by 12.30 but I am exhausted today :o. Because its late I might just go straight on to lunch-type food to avoid having more toast :D

B: A big ol sleep sandwich :rotfl:

L: Soup, either spicy lentil or moroccan chickpea

D: Quorn chilli that I was supposed to eat last night with salad and brown rice

Because of my absent brekkie I will probably have rice pudding for supper with some stewed apple. Plenty of water for me today to flush out the salt from the bread last night.

    Have a great day all

    Hi Louby welcome aboard :T

Everyone sets their own targets whether its a pound a week, to be 2 dress sizes smaller, to lose 2 inches of their waist by Christmas, whatever suits you. The basic principal of what we do is to rely on cooking from scratch, plenty of fruit and veg and proper meals rather than relying on pre-packed stuff, 'diet' foods, meal replacements and alternatives full of sweeteners and additives.

People find it useful to post their daily mealplans as it helps to spot areas where changes can be made if you have a few weeks with no loss. Choose a day that suits you to weigh or measure yourself weekly, fortnightly or even monthly if you think that would work better for you.
I weigh in once a week on Saturday morning so I don't overdo it on Friday night but I can have something nice on a Saturday :D

Good luck with your journey, there are some great success stories on here :j

Two days menu's to post, due to nocturnal offsprng preventing me from having the energy to even plug the pc in.

    Tues ~ scrambled egg x2 ~ brunch
Lamb hot pot, with broccolli, no spuds or dumps, just veggies
The same again for supper/breakfast, depensing on your take of early hours meals

Wed ~ spring veg soup ~ brunch
Spag bol without the spag, carrots and broccolli instead
    Ditto without veg for supper

Crunchie choc bar, half slice of toast early hours pick me ups.

I'm not much of a breakfast person, often too busy, and just don't feel hungered until nearly lunchtime.
I ave a dodgy H, so sometimes I will sound dead common, on occasion dead stupid and rarely, pig ignorant. Sometimes I may be these things, but I will always blame it on my dodgy H.

Sorry, I'm a bit of a grumble weed today, no offence intended ... well it might be, but I'll be sorry.
