  • Morning everyone:wave:

Nice loss Leyla, well done you!!:T

After struggling to stay on track all week I caved in last night, had WW chips, peas..... and a whopping great meat and potato pie from the local butchers:eek: Thoroughly enjoyed every single mouthful and if it's got rid of the pie craving for a couple of months and cheered me up, then not too much harm done!

Back on track today, porridge in a min, bit of housework, then I'm hitting the shops to try and find some essential items that fit (new black trousers and skirt for work if nothing else). I'll probably regret that pie the minute I step into the changing room, but it was yummy!:D

    See you later peeps!

Well done Leyla, thats fab  hope your cat is OK, I am a total cat lady, as I type mine is trying to rip up my new landing carpet

Well after my sticky days during the week I am pleased to report I have lost 1 lb yay me! I have finally broken the barrier and I am 11-stone-something which makes me sooooooo happy :j A few people have started to say that I shouldn't lose any more but I suppose after so long of being big I am bound to look 'gaunt' to them even if I am only just in the healthy BMI :rotfl:

Today I am doing lots of freezer cooking with some of my bargains from Sainsbury. I noticed this morning that the yellow sticker shelf seemed to only contain ready meals and pies whereas it used to have lots of lovely fresh-ish produce and meat. Seems people might be making changes for the better

Managed to jostle my way through and get some lovely organic minced beef, cultured buttermilk and spinach so I will make meatballs, scones and soup as well as my usual bricks of mashed sweet and white potato and tonights tea of steak and ale pie cos its OH's favourite :smileyhea

B: Toast and HM apple ginger jam

L: HM Leek and potato soup

D: Steak and ale pie with braised red cabbage, carrots and white cabbage.

Have a great weekend all :D

In spite of erratic eating I seem to be staying around the same for the last while...could do with making a bit of a reduction but it doesn't seem to be happening, maybe when things are back to normal now that OH is home

Congratulations to losers keep it up

I had apple and rhubarb crumble with custard, it was marvellous if I do say so myself ;)

Glad to hear Frogga is still thinking about us, good luck with everything Marie ((((hugs)))))

Off to bed now for an early night (yes 11.30 is early for me) as I am driving the in-laws to the airport tomorrow.

Guys, guys, help me out please. I know (who doesn't really), what I should be eating, I know what's good nosh, but quantities really are my problem. I reckon if I try to follow others meal plans, then I'll be pretty much on the right track , but when you say things like 'beans on toast', I think yummy, and whack 3 slices in the toaster and a tin of beans in the microwave.

Please tell me how many slices you're havng etc., and share your tips for making it fill you up too.

I'm 5', and weigh around 11ish stone. At one pint this week, the scales said 10.8 ~ whooppee ~ nbut a couple of late ones with nocturnal DS5, and wham, you name it, I've scoffed it. So a few pounds have returned. DARN IT!

I have done it before and kept it off, but it went back on after I had the last baby (yes after, I was only a stone over pre preg weight aftr birth, I piled on another stone and more afterwards).

Anyhoo, enough of this waffle ~ inspire me please.
I ave a dodgy H, so sometimes I will sound dead common, on occasion dead stupid and rarely, pig ignorant. Sometimes I may be these things, but I will always blame it on my dodgy H.

Sorry, I'm a bit of a grumble weed today, no offence intended ... well it might be, but I'll be sorry.

    morning all!

have been checking up on some MIA friends - Caterina also says Hi and Cheerfulness is doing well too:T

Gravitytolls - when it comes to portion sizes I always use a 400g loaf instead of an 800g and use small tins of beans etc or half a big tin.(2 slices usually) I also usually try to stick to only having bread once a day(its hard as I love the stuff:rolleyes: )
Instead of crisps with my sandwiches I have a good handful of grapes to nibble on.
anything else I can help with please ask!

off to work now but might pop in tonight after i get home.
the menu at work has a roast lunch (no meat for me) and a cream tea for dinner:eek:  how on earth will I resist that!:D (I wont probably:D )
I've had some toast for breakfast.

    see you all later x
